We ordered the calamari (which was way overcooked and cold) and the stuffed mushrooms (which were undercooked). After being served our appies the server did not bring us cutlery or plates. Our waters were not filled and we were never asked if we would like another drink. Finally our dinner came and my seafood tai dish was overcooked and tasteless.... More

There were three other tables occupied besides ours. It took over 15 minutes just to have our order taken, we than waited another 45 minutes before we got our food. When asked to speak with a manager there was not one on duty, someone came to see us and said the wait was due to the Pub next door being... More

Quick stop for dinner. Place was empty, server was friendly. Started with some bruschetta, not much effort here tasty but very plain topping. Missus had ribs, said they were okay. I had a small steak, seniors size. Really quite good.

We give accolades to the Chef's at Begbies. Had the pleasure of dining there for Dinner and Breakfast. Excellent food and large portions. Our server's were prompt and very courteous.

Just had the best chicken cordon ever! The coating was nice and crispy. Very flavourful. Real swiss cheese and nice black florest ham. Every bite had ham and/or cheese. Nice mushroom sauce on top, but not so much that it takes away from the flavour of the entree. Was so good! I had mine with plain rice with butter and... More

My experiance was not a nice one. We walked in and there was two other familes waiting, by the door. Had been for 5 mins apparently. Finally they are seated, we still had to wait another couple of mins. I could tell people were getting up by the lack of staff to wait on them. We are finally seated but... More

The arm of my chair was extremely wobbly -- not a big deal -- but the restaurant was dark and dingy. My veggie burger had a very greasy bun (my hand was covered in oil or butter). The patty was tasteless -- and veggie burgers don't have to be tasteless. I had to pick wilted mushy red lettuce from the... More

This bistro is attached to a Best Western Motel. We found the service to be excellent, quick, friendly and helpful. The soup of the day ,pea, was likewise excellent. In fact a pleasant surprise. The chicken entrée was way overcooked, just average,
