Cute Restaurant With Spectacular Ocean View

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this charming restaurant. The food was nicely prepared, very tasty and reasonably priced , unlike another well known restaurant we later visited in Sooke . It was relatively close to our accommodation in Shirley and had been recommended to us by friends who had... read more

Have been a couple of times in the last ten years, but seem to go away with the same feeling and experience, so probably will not return. ...it is quite a long drive from where I live . We are "foodies" I guess and just do not find the food more than just average. Good, kind of basic, but nothing... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this charming restaurant. The food was nicely prepared, very tasty and reasonably priced , unlike another well known restaurant we later visited in Sooke . It was relatively close to our accommodation in Shirley and had been recommended to us by friends who had previously stayed at the resort. If you have a choice... More

We have been coming here for a few years now and love the place. We usually stay in raccoon. However, this time, we had a couple of issues. First, the onsite booking person did not advise the restaurant would be closed during February. Second, the room smelled (reeked) of smoke. Nothing we did would get rid of the smoke odour,... More

We were early for our reservation so they gave us a code to walk around their property. The walk down and the beach were amazing! If you book a reso make sure to show up early so you can do this! The meals that we had were some of the best dishes that we had. All four of us said... More

I love food, and I am a good cook. The food was very good, but desperately in need of salt. There were no skaters or grinders on the table so we had to ask. I hate it when restaurants are so "previous" that they don't allow for individual taste. Having said that, when I seasoned to my taste, it was... More

Exactly one year ago we chose to celebrate a major anniversary in Russia, followed by a visit to three other countries before ending with a ten-day stay in Paris. To mark this year's same anniversary, out of all eating establishments in the greater Victoria region we chose this restaurant because in the past it has never failed to serve us... More

Walk down to the beach or drive up to Mystic Beach if you are a bit more agile. Excellent professional staff. We cooked our own meals. Hot tub and view of the ocean watching sea lions and fishing boats was awesome!

We ate quite well and tried the oysters, duck and scallops. Perfectly cooked, original combinations and the duck was the best surprise, delicious! We felt one of the lady who welcomed us was genuine and really nice, but she was not our server and we didn't really feel that way with the two other people serving us. It's just a... More

We were lucky to get a reservation at this tiny place, in time to watch the sunset over the Strait. We walked the grounds and beach before our meal, which was a highlight of our visit. After reading the menu, we decided to order 4 plates from the appetizer list in an effort to try as many dishes as we... More

We had wanted to go for at least one high-end romantic meal when we were in Sooke area and debated long and hard between this place and Sooke Harbour House. We chose Point no Point and it was definitely the right decision (we did scope Harbour House out which also confirmed our decision)! The view is absolutely breathtaking as we... More
