Exploring the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, my friend and I stopped to have lunch at the Point no Point Restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious seafood pasta, while my friend loved the quesadilla. The service was very helpful, unpretentious and prompt, and the cost, very reasonable. The windswept ocean view was unbeatable, and I can imagine would be so at... More

We had such a lovely glass of wine with appetizers (duck confit and salad) that we made a dinner reservation for the next night. The view is natural Vancouver Island at its best, ranging from a sparkling clear vista of Juan de Fuca Strait to mysteriously fogged in. At one point the fog went from white to golden to orange.... White tables, candlelight and an oceanfront setting sets the scene for a memory here. You're seated with homemade bread and a tempting wine list. We loved the music--it soothed our traveler hearts and brought a smile to our faces. The Ploughman's Lunch appetizer featured three kinds of homemade salami (cherry, apricot were two ingredients), oil, grainy mustard, aged chedar, thin... More

What's not to love? Fresh, local, inventive, and delicious food. Although the fog rolled in the same time we did, the high perch in the side of the cliff above gardens and waves below could not have been better. Two couples catching up and all first time visitors to the restaurant, we enjoyed everything we tried. The local heirloom tomato... More

Small restaurant with a beautiful view of the Salish Sea. The food was delicious, service excellent. Definitely worth the drive.

I have been to this lovely little restaurant on the west coast of Vancouver Island before - with my friends who live in the Sooke area. It has become a bit of a tradition and it never fails to satisfy. With an ever changing and somewhat eclectic menu it is always comforting to return to this little gem with the... More

A lot of the menu items appeared to be fairly sweet, but the chef was very accommodating and made some modifications for me. The meat was flavorful and very tender. The offerings were pretty unique, pairing some unusual flavors together. Definitely not a chain restaurant experience. There were great views to be had from the tables and the servers were... More

Point No Point restaurant is part of the Point-No-Point resort west of Sooke and the French Beach Park on W. Coast Road (14). It is a small restaurant overlooking the coastline. The view from the tables is magnificent and each table is equipped with a pair of binoculars. This is an excellent restaurant for lunch. My wife had the BLT... More

My family was in Sooke for a wedding and we visited Point No Point after it was recommended. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who informed us that we were in for quite a wait, suggesting a half hour walk on their grounds. Between my parents, sister and I, we had the squash quesadilla (no meat added, accompanied... More

The views are breathtaking and there is binocuilars on each table. Service was very good as was the menu. The prices are very reasonable. My wife had the salmon (picure included) which was very good, but the turnip strudel was a weak accompaniment. Mine was the seafood paste. It was OK but lacked some zing.
