Sooke's hidden gem!

Great location for a home cooked meal! Start your day with a hearty breakfast where the kitchen staff caters to your dietary needs. Great lunch and dinner menus with daily specials. Leave room for a piece of homemade pie...big enough for sharing!

If you want to eat once in the morning and not eat again till dinner then this is a good way to start your day. Order a pancake with whatever else you like for breakfast and you should be set. Nothing fancy here, but solid food.

We ventured out on "Family Day" to enjoy breakfast together. We ended up at Mom's cafe and left with a satisfied full belly. A great menu with lots of choices, friendly atmosphere. We plan to go back but next time for the pie!

Took my Daughter and Granddaughter to Mom's Cafe for supper last night. The food and service are excellent. Salmon Chowder is Awesome...nice and Thick. Club Sandwich is great, Turkey carved off the bird adds to this great sandwich. Daughter had a Salad that was huge and looked great, I was surprised she got through it. Granddaughter had the Hot Dog...which... More

Had the meatloaf that came on garlic toast with mushroom gravy. In a feeble attempt to balance it into a healthy meal I had the side salad that comes with it. It was a decent sized portion and I initially hoped to have leftovers to bring home. Alas I could not stop eating as it was so GD delicious !!!!... More

I ate both dinner and breakfast at Mom's, and although I enjoyed both, the breakfast was hands-down the best. Perfect bacon, French toast to die for, and fluffy scrambled eggs. Dinner was served hot and fresh, very tasty and large serving size. I had the coconut cream pie, but found it too thick, even though it was just the right... More

Really cute restaurant; 50's diner style with lots of booths. Clean and bright. Servers were efficient and friendly. Food was tasty and plentiful, if not a bit heavy. Not enough room for pie = too bad. Pretty good value for the large portion size.

This cafe has been in Sooke since 1963! The staff are friendly and the service is great. Comfort food at it's best - including the 40 apple pie!

Mom's Cafe is part place, part feeling. It is a long established business with a dedicated clientele. And for good reason. Mom's Cafe is more like an old style diner with the naugahide upholstery and U shaped booths. The menu is wholesome and extensive. The home made pies can be as tall as 12 inches and even the "small" cream... More
