This restaurant, a mainstay in the Laurentians for many years, will never disappoint you. We had lunch ( really breakfast) there on a Tuesday in late August, and there was a waiting line at 1:15pm for lunch. It has always been a favourite of the locals. We both had bacon and eggs, baked beans and their country bread, with home... More

This restaurant is on the 117 and worth every Km travelled to go eat there. Opened for breakfast and lunch only, this place has great food and great atmosphere. You must try the ham and baked beans. They also have a boutique where they sell these and more(homemade jams, quiche and tourtière ) My dad took us there 35 years... More

We go here as a family once a year...if it wasn't 2 and a half hours away from where we live we would be there almost all the time. When you think of the perfect breakfast place in your head for a great Canadian breakfast this place is it. In the mountains with beautiful scenery and an absolute beautiful mill... More

This restaurant has a long standing reputation as THE place to go Up North for breakfast / brunch, primarily due to their in-house smoked ham and bacon. We finally tried it for ourselves, and were not disappointed. The first sign of this restaurant's loyal following is the gigantic parking lot in the back, way larger than what from the road... More

How can you really bring something different to a "bacon and egg" plate? Well, they are doing it! Been there over 10 times, with family, friends, with my wife, even alone, I can assure you that is the most tasty breakfast you will have. They smoke their own bacon and ham, and the potatoes that are served with every plate... More

A great place to have a large Sunday brunch. The ham was amazing but the baked beans totally stole the show. I had the Ogre breakfast and it was enormous. My daughter had the french toast made with baguette bread and it was fantastic. It was well worth the drive for us. Only thing I didn't like was the coffee,... More

A delightfully rustic restaurant serving regional specialties for Breakfast and Lunch to about three PM. We have gone here often and enjoy exploring their varied menu. The large fireplace, good service and delicious Québécois food make this a must stop when in the area.

We went to Au Peit Poucet this past weekend with a group of friends that recommended we go there for brunch and were not disappointed. My wife and I shared the Ogre Breakfast with a side of crepes and were absolutely satisfy with both quantity and quality. When they ask you if you want regular bread or "Pain Menage" you... More

Amazing experience, welcoming atmosphere, good comforting breakfast. Everything made onsite. The tourtiere, the bread, ham are very good. Service is amazing. It's worth the drive.
