This is one of the best (if not the best) restaurant in the Laurentians. The food, ambiance, and service are nearly perfection. Sincerely, you get better food at Les Zebres than anywhere else around, including Tremblant, Ste-Adele and St-Sauveur. We did the 250 km return-trip to have dinner there and it was worth it. Every single item we tried on... More

Been there on a Saturday road trip with my girlfriend. We drop by with no reservation and there was no problem to get a table. We were not rush to go even if the restaurant was fully booked for the night. The service was very good and the food also. It's french cuisine with local product. The best value is... More

I really wanted to like this place. We were "greeted" by a man who stood there with hangers, presumably to hang our coats, kind of staring at us expectantly and I felt very awkward that he didn't actually say anything...a very uncomfortable beginning. The waitress was warmer, the ambiance in the dining room was good and I began to relax... More

Just moved in the little Val-David town and started trying the Restaurants...I am so glad Les Zebres are so close by to our house. We really dont need to go far to have excellent service and top quality food and wine. We had the stake and it was melting in the mouth...cant wait to go back!

We order tapas, (The best one was the prosciutto made with duck) and filet mignon, everything was delicious. The menu is original, ant the athmosphere is romantic and very relax. The menu changes every week (At least in summer, I don't know in winter)

The decor was hip, the service personal and "attentioné", and the menu was varied and interesting. The trout tartare was memorable - refined, fresh, a mix of local and far east flavors. We had a great time, our dinner was delicious.

It was our second experience at Les Zebres. Busy with some groups celebrating birthdays. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. I took the foie gras as appetizer. Very generous portion, very tasty and well prepared. As a second I took the linguini with clams and pancetta. Perfectly done. My friends selected the daily soup (roots) and enjoyed it very... More

This dinner happened a while ago (April 2011). Each bistro fare we had was well executed (their foie gras au torchon for ie, showed impressive technical mastery) , and even more important: they were flavorful! No reproach at all, but great produce and a Chef with solid skills. Photo & text review of my dinner there: http://tinyurl.com/3ummhqz
