Delicious Food!

We had been before for one lunch and one dinner which were excellent so we took our overseas friends for dinner. Sadly we had a less than stellar start to our visit with a serious lack of menus and a waitress who was so overwhelmed (perhaps new to the job) and undertrained that we waited quite... read more

The restaurant and adjoining hotel were completely renovated in a mid century modern style a couple of years ago and are now SPECTACULAR! You can dine inside, outside in an enclosed patio with haters, or outside to suit your mood and the weather. All offer unobstructed views across the Strait of Georgia to the mountains on the mainland. In the... More

My friends & I enjoyed an amazing dinner on the patio. The service was outstanding as was the ocean view! The food was made to match and was amazing! I enjoyed the salmon, but the true hit on this menu is the chicken lolipop! It is irresistible, a chicken leg wrapped in bacon and served with chipotle mayo. This dish... More

We have been here a few times , for lunch and dinner. Good variety for lunch and very reasonable prices. Dinner is good as well, but we have had slow service at night. They are across the road from the beach. So, some tables have awesome views. The patio is large and a great place to chill out. Upscale urban... More

Just came back from my birthday dinner there. I had the shrimp linguini it is just spicy enough for those who like a bit of kick. It was wonderful. My husband had the BBQ chicken, also very good. Food came nice and hot. I had the creme brulee, it was grainy not well done. I did tell them and was... More

Poor attitude , late service , great food but owners need to look at the idiots managing the restaurant . Maybe customer service training is in order .

First visit to this establishment. Beautifully done renovation. We had the "Riptide Squid" appetizer, it had good flavour but was the toughest, stringiest we have ever had. Entrees were the Chicken Curry Penne which was just OK, lacked the spicy flavour one expects with a curry dish. The Panko halibut was just alright as well. This restaurant serves a lot... More

This dining room is comfortable and spacious: There is enough space between tables that it was possible to have a good conversation with our friend who accompanied us. With lots of windows, the view of the ocean is an outstanding feature of the room. As for food, I had a delicious special of the day salad with added prawns which... More

We have been to the restaurant at the Qualicum Beach Inn a number of times. It has come a long way since it opened. First, the renovations are beautiful. The outdoor space is gorgeous. The manager is very friendly and so very helpful and accommodating. In April, we went twice - both times for lunch, once with 4 and the... More
