I have to ask myself......

I read a number of the reviews and I had to ask myself, "Is this the same place?" The location and business do have a history that makes for interesting reading. They give a brief history with the menu. The building is definitely "dated". It was a nice evening so we decided to eat outside. The... read more

Outdoor tables in a beautiful park-like setting situated far enough from the road so there is no vehicle noise. The halibut was cooked to perfection! Friendly, efficient staff. Made to feel very welcome.

Friendly staff. We both enjoyed the fish and chips. The prices were reasonable. Very easy to find. We'd go back!

Smallish Tudor style house converted to a restaurant located on Hwy 19A just outside of town. The large front lawn abundant with hydrangea acts as a very pleasant "patio" dining area in good weather. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, smiling server. Service was fast and friendly but if you are not a lover of fish - then this... More

I have to say the food was very good - once it arrived. There were 4 of us, 2 couples. The restaurant was not busy, about 1/4 full when we arrived and we were seated quickly and supplied with menus. It was at least 15 minutes before the waitress returned (remember there are only 3 or 4 other tables occupied... More

How can you drive by this charming little English Tudor house and not drive in? The garden alone is enough to make you turn in. Best part is when you walk in and find yourself in a totally English pubsy restaurant with all the kitschy decore on the walls. It's fun. The food is very good and I go here... More

We wanted a local fish and chips place and this did the job. It was a little pricey but we enjoyed everything we ordered. We even went back the next day for even more popcorn shrimp. They were the best!

I have no words to describe how scrumptious the food was at this place!! It has reasonable pricing and a beautiful garden to eat in. Highly recommended in my books.

Everyone loves fish a and chips don't they ? Well our travelling vegetarian doesn't but Fish Tales catered for him without any issue. Great quality fish in wonderful batter and pleasantly served to us. The only negative is that the decor is dated but that does not detract in anyway from the wonderful food that was served up for us.

Sunday lunch of all you can eat fish and chips and coleslaw. Quantity of initial serving quite large so we didn't ask for more. Spinach salad with grilled halibut was perfect.
