Very Pleasant Surroundings

What a pleasure to eat in a quiet room. Very nicely restored wood paneled elegant room, with very quiet music in the background. The food was quite good, but my Parmesan crusted chicken was overwhelmed by the amount of cheese on top.

Butler's at the Mansion has reopened this week, and the food, the service, the whole feeling of the place now....fantastic! We enjoyed ourselves so much and are very thankful to have this beautiful place back in our community.

This restaurant closed some months ago. The food was good, service great, wine selection good and it was considered one of the better restaurants in the area but it closed at the end of the summer in 2014 and has not reopened since.

Ever since Butlers opened in 2011, its performance has veered from outstanding to downright disappointing and back again with some "OKs" in the middle. This has largely been a reflection of the changes in chefs. The location, ambience and decor are superb; the service is generally very good (with the indomitable Koochie taking care of business) but unfortunately the food... More

Going to butler's is always a bit of a 'special occasion' as it is understood to be a 'higher quality' restaurant whose pricing reflects that. One goes there to be pampered and served superior meals. When you go, you hope that all these expectations are met and that the expenditure equates to the experience, trusting the chef is not in... More

We were delighted to find a good wine list that helped to accompany our very well prepared dinner. Service was polite and attentive. Worth repeating.

We have dined at Butler's a handful of times and on every occasion it has been exceptional from the greeting, to the service received (especially by Koochie whom is the epitome of Customer Service) and an outstanding, delicious dinner which is always wonderfully presented. My husband and I would highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for a special evening... More

Worth every penny for a wonderful experience. Service is excellent and they can accommodate food sensitivities with grace. Ideal for a romantic evening or special occasion. My husband had the "best meal of his life"! Barbara was our server and was extremely natural and efficient in her manner. 'Pleasant' doesn't begin to describe the experience but is the perfect word.
