The courtyard dining is private , peaceful And lovely. Excellent service. All foods made in the cafe. The baking is over the top wonderful. The lemon blueberry pie is the best, cinnamon buns hard to resist. Don't be afraid to try the crepe quesidilla...you won't be disappointed. The cafe is owner operated and has character and flair. It is a... More

I have been to the Courtyard Cafe quite a few times, usually for coffee. The patio is lovely, the coffee is excellent and there is a good variety of muffins, tarts cakes etc to go with it. The service is extremely friendly and prompt.

Just up the street from the Qualicum Beach outdoor market, we found a warm welcome here. Althougn the menu was extensive I wanted something simple off the menu. Would they make it? "Of course!!! " Without being corny or obtrusive, the owner succeeds in his mission to make everyone welcome and comfortable. A balance not easily achieved. Oh yes, the... More

The place looks old and tired and is in need of a redo! The food was very bad.We asked if everything was made from scratch and they said yes but while we were there a sales man took a order for all kinds of pre-made products. The crepes were not very good at all. The sauce on top was doughy and... More

Despite good reviews, we were disappointed with our lunch here. Two turkey sandwiches with very little meat; bitter cranberry sauce Side salad which was a handful of mesclun mix - not one other vegetable Two black coffee Both sandwich and "salad" overpriced for the quality. I did not comment at the time because they were edible but when I realized... More

It's quite small but very quaint! The breakfast crepes were delicious and the service was unmatched! We'll visit again!

Had soup and crêpes and both were so good! Actually so good that we ordered seconds. We are both very restricted with our diets and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend it!

There is a small, unpretentious cafe on Memorial Avenue in Qualicum Beach that is one of the best hidden secrets in the area! The Courtyard Cafe is one of the best special-diet cafes you will ever eat in, and almost everything is made from scratch by one of the owners, Meryl Tryon. She has taken a generational cookbook handed down... More

We occasionally drop by for coffee and some in house baking. I like the courtyard out back for fresh air. After a group walk the inside feel much too warm due to the baking, Parts of the cafe are too cluttered with old tea cups and things. I can recommend the baked goods but this is not my first choice... More
