We decided to try this place based on the reviews on this site. Perhaps it was the choice we made off the large menu but my husband and I both ordered the same chicken pesto pizza and it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever tried. They claim to make them in an authentic italian style but I'm not... More

The restaurant has lively and pleasantly decorated interior. There were plenty of good selections and some of them were uniquely fusion. My wife and I both ordered spaghetti, very unique, and they were excellent. Service was good.

It takes forever to be greeted here. And then a long wait after you are seated. The waitresses are too busy gossiping with friends and regulars. The waitress didn't know the menu and we both had to repeat our choices because she was listening to her workmates gossip while taking our orders. Food took forever and was average. The interior... Great music and atmosphere. We went out to eat on a Thursday night and most places along the street were pretty dead, but this restaurant was very busy! The servers are very nice and professional, and best of all, the food is superb! We both had burgers, which were fantastic. i don't usually like burgers, but these were so great!... More

There were 9 in our party, 6 adults and 3 children. The food was universally terrible except for the frites. We sent our mussels back because in addition to being terribly over done, the cook had thickened the sauce with so much flour it looked like the mussels were coated in cheese. Disgusting! The salmon was also over cooked and... More

Good food, great presentation. They have a whole menu just for moules et frites. Their kids menu has the same options as all kids menu in North america, but the food is well made and tasted good. Their menu is huge and had too much variety, but it seems that they are able to keep up with it. The desserts... More

If you go here, I highly recommend the burgers. Unique and extremely tasty!! As a beer lover I was also super happy with the extensive beer menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful (they gave us English menus and were happy to serve us mostly in English, although we did try some French too :) ).

My Salmon panini was good although the bread was not well toasted. The accompanying salad was nicely tosed with just the right amount of dressing, but I have to disagree with another reviewer concerning the creme brûlée....just average. I'd wanted one of their burgers but was told that it has to be cooked "well done"....so skipped that. Asked for a... More

L'Estaminet is a nice find in "Downtown" Riviere-du-Loup is it tries to put a modern twist on classics. If I was from the UK, I would probably classify this place as a "GastroPub" What I liked: Good friendly service (although a little bit slow as the place is jam packed for lunch). Good variety on the menu. Good portion size... More

We went to this place because we have never been in this area before and we don't speak French, we checked trip advisor and found the reviews to be good. So we decided to take a chance on this place. Great great great choice. They were very accommodating despite the fact we didn't speak French. The waitress was very helpful,... More
