Good food, great presentation. They have a whole menu just for moules et frites. Their kids menu has the same options as all kids menu in North america, but the food is well made and tasted good. Their menu is huge and had too much variety, but it seems that they are able to keep up with it. The desserts... More

If you go here, I highly recommend the burgers. Unique and extremely tasty!! As a beer lover I was also super happy with the extensive beer menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful (they gave us English menus and were happy to serve us mostly in English, although we did try some French too :) ).

My Salmon panini was good although the bread was not well toasted. The accompanying salad was nicely tosed with just the right amount of dressing, but I have to disagree with another reviewer concerning the creme brûlée....just average. I'd wanted one of their burgers but was told that it has to be cooked "well done"....so skipped that. Asked for a... More

L'Estaminet is a nice find in "Downtown" Riviere-du-Loup is it tries to put a modern twist on classics. If I was from the UK, I would probably classify this place as a "GastroPub" What I liked: Good friendly service (although a little bit slow as the place is jam packed for lunch). Good variety on the menu. Good portion size... More

We went to this place because we have never been in this area before and we don't speak French, we checked trip advisor and found the reviews to be good. So we decided to take a chance on this place. Great great great choice. They were very accommodating despite the fact we didn't speak French. The waitress was very helpful,... More

Homemade tasting stawberry rhubarb persevere served on homemade toast. Fresh fruit and baked beans and spicy hash browns served with two egg breakfast. Fancy juice drinks available. Good value in nice setting. Not a fan of large television sets everywhere.

We went here after researching while in Quebec City. We wanted a stop on our way to Miramichi, one that had poutine. Found this restaurant with a great comment on poutine so that was it! The food was excellent, poutine included. I had the Francais burger which was great, very interesting flavor. Wish we could have had more time to... More

Ambience was upbeat and yet soothing...making you want to snuggle in and stay for the day. Loved loved loved the Burger Le Francais and the fries that made you want more. Dessert is a must...Creme Brûlée was insanely criminal it was so good. Server was friendly and very patience with us non-French Speaking guests...Thanks Lysandre.

Nice settings for this modern looking diner. Quite a lot of people are there for lunch time. Efficient service. Maybe a bot too loud to enjoy a conversation. If you happen to pass by and need a pit-stop this place is certainly worth a visit.
