Had a great dinner at Café L'innocent, came back the next day for lunch, was equally good. Food was fresh and tasty.

My wife and I sought out this place because we'd heard good things. Just visiting Riviere-du-Loup for the night, and this was the perfect place to eat. A nice walk up Rue Lafontaine (the main street) takes you to this cozy, charming and very cool spot. Old tin ceiling, comfortable booths, funky tables down middle of room. A really nice... More

Cool decor and hillside neighbourhood. Very different, eclectic main dishes. Had authentic Quebecois desert -- sugar pie made with espresso and chocolate. Amazing! Excellent service and great music.

Interesting mix of flavours in a quite wide selection of dishes and drinks. Cozy place with soft music.

They say "fusion" but I would just say the food is a little odd....I mean, I am not sure I got what I ordered. It could have been the lamb-curry-rice dish but it seemed more like the pulled pork and rice dish. And when you aren't sure, you have to say the menu is quirky. But what is more important... More

Been here before, but love that the décor (ie. the art) changes every time. Food is excellent, service is always very good and the ambience can't be beat. All that at a reasonable price, too. Portions are always good, as well the chef always sends out small tasty pp.! Try it- you will return!

Had the cumin lamb pancake (crepe) and ham and cheddar pancake - both were excellent - nice balance of sweet and salty. Also had the hummus and chips appetizer which was great. The salad that came with the crepes was delicious as well. Did find wine a bit expensive but overall was a fantastic meal.

The owner of this restaurant, Martin, is actively engaged in creating cultural resistance to the Energy East pipeline and other fossil fuel projects. Eating here is a delicious excuse to get a little more connected with the grassroots of climate justice in Quebec. The value for the price is so there. Definitely worth the splurge if you're on a shoe-string... More
