Had the cumin lamb pancake (crepe) and ham and cheddar pancake - both were excellent - nice balance of sweet and salty. Also had the hummus and chips appetizer which was great. The salad that came with the crepes was delicious as well. Did find wine a bit expensive but overall was a fantastic meal.

The owner of this restaurant, Martin, is actively engaged in creating cultural resistance to the Energy East pipeline and other fossil fuel projects. Eating here is a delicious excuse to get a little more connected with the grassroots of climate justice in Quebec. The value for the price is so there. Definitely worth the splurge if you're on a shoe-string... More

This place is amazing! We stopped in for an early dinner after driving from Halifax. The service was excellent, the food was some of the best we have ever had, and the atmosphere is great. I'm so glad we checked it out and I will definitely be back next time we are in RDL. Pro tip - get the hummus!

This really is a must-do in Riviere du Loup. We travelled here from Washington DC and were blown away by the artists' decor, local beers, exquisite dishes and friendly service. The warm salads and rice dishes are outstanding, as is the chocolate-avocado cake. So good we returned for a second night in a row.

We stopped in Riviere-du-Loup overnight on our trip out east. We were advised to come here by our hotel, and it is #1 on trip advisor. It was a bit hard to spot from the street but we ended up finding it. I had the ham cheese pancake which is ham and cheese in a crepe with a side salad.... More

This is one of those gems that you would never find without tripadvisor. Believe the hype. It's everything it's cracked up to be.

If you travel to Riviere du Loup, you must go to Cafe L'Innocent. The food is absolutely stellar. We had the crepes with ham and cheese, along a local lamb fried rice. These dishes were delicious, augmented with unique beer from the Iles de la Madeline. We finished our meal with a slice of the most incredible chocolate cake in... More
