This was the beginning of our trip and we stopped one night in St. Andrews. The motel owner recommended Lobster Bay. The food was very good. I had the seafood chowder and loved it. The best part was the owner and the folks who worked there. We felt like friends by the time we left. They told us all about... More

We went to Lobster Bay twice during our stay in St Andrews-both times to watch World Cup matches. On both visits we had very friendly and attentive servers. I am vegan, and the staff were accommodating with my orders. My husband had the fish and chips, which he loved. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. We would go back!

My experience did not match the reviews I read. The meal and service were fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had a higher expectation and they delivered an average performance

Based on others reviews, I ordered the fish and chips with a beer even when the price was a little high. The dinner came out quickly, the fish was fresh and the portion was fine. However, the oil where the fish and fries were cooked should have been changed long ago. My wife also ordered a chocolate bread pudding listed... More

Fantastic service and lovely food for a very reasonable price. I had the soup of the day, which was chilli beef, with a grilled cheese sandwich and my boyfriend had the hamburger platter. Food was lovely and fresh - great value.

This is a gem of a pub/restaurant on the main street of St. Andrews. As you walk in the pub is to the left and the dining room the right. The waitress was bubbly, friendly and immediately began bragging about their Fish & Chips. She said they were the best in the Atlantic Canada and maybe the world, so I... More

We stumbled across Lobster Bay Eatery while traveling in the area! It was too early for dinner, but we were in the mood for a snack and a local beer. We went into the Pub at Lobster Bay and discovered a surprisingly friendly environment! Selina, the bartender, gave us good service, and great advice when she recommended the nachos! We enjoyed... We were very happy to stumble across the Lobster Bay and the excellent food. There were 5 in our party and we experienced the pulled pork, blackened chicken, grilled chicken, and two types of fish dish. All were excellent! The service was very fast and friendly and the restaurant quite clean. We would eat there again in a heart beat... More

You have to try the "Fish and Chips". My family ate here our first evening in St. Andrews. Not too crowded and super staff. Had we stayed in town longer we would have surely eaten here again. Comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

I loved this place. I had the fish sandwich, lightly battered with lettuce, tomato, onion and a slice of chedder cheese. I added some tarter sauce. The roll was superior. Then there was the order of Black & Tan Guiness Stout onion rings, you could taste the stout flavor. My wife choose the lobster sandwich. It was full of lobster... More
