The back deck on the water is great. Service was attentive. No putting tables together, so our party had to split - that all seemed a bit unnecessary. I really enjoyed the clam chowder, and my companions had burgers of various kinds that were very good.

Really as you are walking down the main street you could pass right by without even knowing what you are missing out on. The Gables was a wonderful surprise that we found hidden behind the buildings on the main street. To enter you have to come down a side alleyway filled with marvelous gardens. The gardens lead you to a... More

This place gets a lot of traffic, bus loads drop off here, but if you can miss the bus crowd, go for it. Sitting on the deck looking across at Maine and if its not too cool, great, if it is, ask for one of their blankets. The Salmon burger was good, as well as the Ruben. Reasonably priced too.

The outside patio and view are great. Food quality was disappointing (crab cakes and fries were really poor). Mediocre wine list. Friendly service. Overpriced

Four of us for lunch on a beautiful day last week of August. Lucky enough to be seated on the outdoor deck under a big tree. I had the soup and egg salad sandwich combo which was very good. Everyone happy with their selections. Our waitress was a delight. Patio was full of diners but service was attentive. I particularly... More

The restaurant was very busy, so service was a bit slow. To be honest, if you're sitting on the patio enjoying the view... who cares about the slow service. I had the Lobster Club and the Wife had the Lobster Role. The lobster club was delicious and my wife enjoyed her lobster role. Get a table on the patio... you... More

We were two couples here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We sat on the deck, lovely view. We started with some apps, escargot, mussels, Caesar salad. Salad was very good, I didn't personally have mussels or escargot but my husband and friends said they were very good. My husband had a lobster which was served with mussels, nothing else,... More

I am not one to criticize as my mom runs a restaurant in which i have worked for 10 yrs growing up, I know all too well the stresses and pressures associated. However, I was greatly disappointed with the service here, we were told by a local shop owner that the food was good. We walked in and sat ourselves,... More

Hubby ordered the $31 lobster dinner and went home hungry. We were trying to keep it fun as we had no experience eating lobster and asked the server what to do with it. She told us she didnt know as she was allergic to seafood and walked away. Oooooo K! I had the scallops which were fine and came with... More

Their patio is a beautiful place to enjoy a meal while watching the Bay of Fundy tides change. Prices are reasonable for the area.. I had crab cakes which were very good.s. Service was rather slow despite the fact that we were there at an early hour for dinner, but fast service isn't necessary when you have that kind of... More
