We were bicycling the North Star rail trail and this is at the "top" and turn around town (Kimberley) so we need refreshment and refueling for the journey back. It was extremely hot the days we visited (twice!) so the Pink Lemon Slush and the Steam Donkey coffee slush were perfect! Also had a turkey wrap and it also was... More

Food is usually fresh and consistently good, however staff always leaves a bad taste in my mouth with their poor attitudes. The place could use a thorough cleaning/dusting and sanitization. Decent coffee.

We biked from Cranbrook to Kimberley on the paved 'Rails to Trails' bike/walking path (a hidden treasure in its own right). We arrived at 9am and asked for the best coffee shop in town and were directed to the Snowdrift. Had a fantastic cappuccino made with locally roasted 'Steam Donkey' coffee. A nice selection of baked goods. There is ample... More

There are two coffee shops in the platzl and this is my favorite. The coffee is excellent and there is lots of room to sit down and enjoy a cookie or some other baked goods. We went yesterday at five minutes before closing and they were very helpful cans didn't make us feel bad coming in at the last minute.

We stopped in after hiking around the town. Great service. Chai tea latte was delicious, as was the chowder and garlic parmesan bun! Worth stopping for!

Good place to get breakfast or lunch, or just a tasty baked treat! Casual atmosphere. Don't forget to try the cinnamon scrolls (if you are lucky enough to get one before they all sell out!).

I have eaten here at least 50 times in the last couple years. The owner Bridget is super friendly and done a great job with the place since she took over. I order the same thing every time, breakfast bagel and soup. The BB is the best youll find anywhere and the soup is different everyday but always delicious. The... More
