Billed as the best German food in the Kootenays, and I agree! Excellent sausage plate, and loved the goulash soup. Their selection of schnitzel is great, but the next time I go, I will have the Schweinhaxen! Beer was good, but they need more ales!

A large menu to chose from but don't worry I have loved everything I have tried there. They go out of their way to use local and fresh wherever possible and the result is gourmet dining Slightly pricey but its worth it if you are looking for a great meal for a special occasion or you just feel you deserve... This was our second visit and the service was excellent. Bookings seem essential as they're always busy. The beautiful old building creates a warm, cosy atmosphere in winter. Food is delicious with plenty of choice and generous servings. There is nothing negative I could write.

Four of us had the Bavarian Feast and it was amazing. I can not think of anything negative to say about our experience. The restaurant was very busy with a lot of tourists and Christmas parties but the service was excellent. I loved every dish that came out and so did everyone else.

This restaurant is fantastic ambience, food and services. The food is all fresh and prepared so well. I have an allergy to sulfites and the chefs know how to prepare my food and it still has amazing flavors.

I went here by myself one night and was so impressed by the food, staff and overall atmosphere that I came back the following night with 3 friends one of whom is Vegan! He said that his vegetable platter was the best meal out he had ever had.............. High praise indeed and well deserved in our opinions.
