Enjoyable service and food.

We had excellent service and good food both days we ate here on our vacation. The portions are big and exactly what you would expect for a mid price eatery.

Food was average at best. Steak for fajitas was served way overdone from what was ordered. Burgers tasted like frozen patties and did not justify the price. Better food to be had in town.

Had lunch there twice while staying at the Trickle Creek Lodge. Nice interior, friendly staff, certainly laid-back in the summer time. Bigger selection than I had anticipated, and the portions are definitely North America-sized.

We were attending a symphony on the mountain that evening and ran for a quick bite at Montana. We ordered a fish and chips and their menu are all the same with other Montana restaurant. We found this is a little bit pricy than other places since it is located on top of alpine resort. Prices are typically range from... More

Got their and waitress did not know anything about the drink specials or what the $5 value was for draught beer. No specials on Sunday evening?? Food we ordered was very tasty and service was good initially, then a large group came in and we never saw our waitress again and no one took over until we had waited over... More

We were at the Kimberley Alpine Resort for a family wedding. In between the ceremony and reception a group of us went into Montana's for a drink and a snack. I should also mention that there was a symphony orchestra also on the mountain that day. We were seated promptly and had a very nice hostess/server. As more of our... More

Four people in our party and it appeared not very busy when we arrived. 10 minutes to get a menu 10 more for waitress to return. A total time of one hour before any food came. My salmon salad was 80% iceberg lettuce:(, other salmon dishes ordered by others tasted okay, but nothing difficult for such a long wait. Waitress... More

Went for dinner here on May 28th, should have clued in at how few people were in the restaurant and gone somewhere else. There were quite a few wait staff on that night and they were obviously bored, shouting across the restaurant to one another and not really paying much attention to the customers. We have had the ribs here... More

Hi Jeani, I just wanted to first thankyou for taking the time to review our restaurant, and secondly apologize for the service that you recieved. While we try to maintain a casual yet fun environment there is no reason that our staff should have been shouting across the restaurant. I am also dissapointed that your ribs and baked potato were... Montana's serves up some tasty nachos, the best I've had while visiting Kimberley! Loads of toppings, crisp chips and generous portions of salsa and sour cream, and as always, I'll get a side of guac which is a tasty add on. Now no judging allowed, but I've tried all their nacho options, pulled pork, chorizo and the good ol veggie.... More

While staying at Northstar mountain village resort, we dined @ Montana's. We were happy we did, as the staff were super friendly, the food, fantastic!! The restaurant is quite large and it was nicely spread out, so you had some privacy. We will be back, soon!
