great lunch spot

Great lunch location, downtown, wonderful gourmet coffee, specialty soups and sandwiches, desserts with a solo trip (with coffee of course). At lunch time expect a crowd as it is very popular.

My colleague at work suggested I visit Apple Annie's when in Orillia...and to make sure to buy some fudge. It was truly the best fudge I have ever had... I brought some home and the family loved it !!

A small cafe on Missisaga Street, the main street of Orillia Can be crammed during lunch time and espeally in the winter month. Food is good, but the cake and pastry selection in small in my view.

Returned to Apple Annie's for lunch. Combo of soup and sandwich was fine. Delicious "Red Root" soup with ham and cheese grilled sandwich. The decor is earthy, lots of local art on the walls. The place was busy as it was last time I visited. During lunch I counted the make-up of patrons. In my count there were 24 women... More

It was a bit crowded and a bit expensive but ok! It is also difficult to line up for elderly! Over 70 should not have to line up!

We had lunch in Apple Annie's Cafe and also bought fudge from the shop, both were wonderful, the staff in both places were friendly and helpful and the good was great. The fudge did not last long!

I was at a charity event and there was little cupets of maple sugar and chocolate fudge in the middle of the table from Apple Annie's. They were creamy and delicious! Thank you!

Apple Annie's Cafe is just up the street from Tres Sorrelle, which was deservedly featured on the TV program YOU GOTTA EAT HERE. Apple Annie's also deserves a spot. The decor is simple and rustic with mismatched chairs and tables and the work of local artists adorning the walls. The service and menu are also very basic. The daily specials... More
