Nice Little Place

Stopped here for a few drinks, about 6 craft style beers on tap. Could use a good cleaning and some maintenance. Server was very good.

I have had a few meals at this cafe, and though none have been outstanding all were very good and well worth every penny i paid. This cafe has some of the best beer in town on tap and is one of the two best pubs in Orillia. What really makes this location stand out is the staff and how... More

Went to this odd little place around happy hour during the week. The drink selection is limited to mainly Ontario draft beers, which is fine, plus your typical cocktail drinks made with substandard (the cheapest available) ingredients. ($6.95 for a pint of draft at the time of writing) Bartender was knowledgeable and personable, but that's about as much as the... More

We go to this place once every week or two. I ADORE THIS PLACE! Very kind and friendly staff who always know what we want to drink. The live music is excellent, fueled by so many creative young people. The art changes all the time and they feature all local artists. Very great place if you aren't into the bar... More

If coors light, top 40, UFC, spray tan, jersey shore, energy drinks, ed hard-on, and taking selfies in the bathroom is your kind of thing, be prepared to be accepted as an equal and treated with kindness despite the lack of common interests. They won't judge you. Don't judge them. yours truly, Cliff Clavin

I love Brownstone. I'm a regular here & it's the best place to drink & get drunk. Tuesday is open mic & it's really enjoyable. I don't like drinking anywhere else in town. Best wine & best cheese & best people <3

I've tried to give the Brownstone a second chance. I assume the other reviews were written by staff members because the way this place is described is embarrassingly false. The food menu is basically a formality. The owner is not a barista and he is training others how to poorly construct specialty drinks so that's an indication of how poorly... More

The Brownstone is the only real choice for a social drink or light food in Orillia. It has a warm feel and the staff and patrons are incredibly welcoming. It is also the only consistent spot in Orillia for fans of live music. Bands or solo artists are scheduled at least once a week and Tuesday open mic nights are... More
