I read about this little restaurant at the south end of the seawall walk, on the margins of the touristy strip of Perce. The view out to sea is glorious, which is good seasoning for any dish. However, the food was only fair. Pizza was okay. The steak was very overpriced for the style of the restaurant and the sophistication... More

La Morutière does have a spectaculor view on the rock and seats are limited, this is a part of the explication for the price at our restaurant. In high season, try the first service at 17h30 pm. Thank's for your comment. More

I had breakfast here twice and it was very good. The service is fine as well and the view spectacular.

Yes we do have a spectaculor view on the ocean, so closed that you think you are in a cruise ship. La Morutière is open from 7h00 am until 21h00 pm every day. Next time come and try our Gaspé cod. Thank's for taking the time to make a comment. More

A lovely smaller restaurant attached to a motel off the main street of Perce. We just tried it by chance and were very impressed. Wonderful wine, seafood, service and a great view of the Rock! Definitely good value.

J'ai dégusté un des meilleurs steak a ce restaurant. La cuisson était parfaite. Le service était chaleureux, convivial et la vue....spectaculaire! I tasted one of the best steak at this restaurant. Cooking was perfect. The service was warm, friendly and the view spectacular!

Yes we do have an excellent steak on the menu with a spectaculor view. Because our speciality is cod, we have to be carefull when somebody ask for a steak and maybe ... that's why we are good at it. More

Restaurant La Morutière is so closed from the ocean that you feel you are in a cruiseship. The only thing that is good for some people is that it doesn't move ... and we do also have a fantastic view on the rock. Come and try our cod. Thank's for your comment. More

We arrived at the restaurant at 2:10 and the waitress told us we cannot order from the lunch menu anymore. The lunch menu clearly states that it is served from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. That means we need to order from dinner menu and pay $20+ for a seafood spaghetti that is not even as good as Olive Garden... More

We are very sorry about your experience at La Morutière. You were right in having the lunch menu instead of the souper menu. All the staff have been advised and we hope they will take more time the next time to understand english people. La Morutière is own by one of the english family of Percé and it is important... More

Morutiere is a small restaurant that looks like a waterfront shack from the outside. The inside is fairly plain but pretty in a simple, unfussy way. I was pleased with the fact that they found a table for me, a non-Francophone party of one with no reservation arriving at a fairly busy time. I had a table in a few... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our motel. We walked in through the parking lot -- passed the young chefs having a smoke. I ordered the Table d'Hote and my partner ordered a seafood plate. Here's our take: -chef salad - mediocre -soup (potage vegetable) - needed salt and the broth base was weak -chef's choice for cod -- this... More

We usually vacation in Perce on a yearly basis and always make it a point to dine at La Morutiere. There is a wide variety of food on the menu but seafood is their specialty. The restaurant is located at the water's edge and provides a fantastic view of Perce Rock. A must try!
