Good food; wine choices: red or white

The food was good; it was disappointing when my rillette was served cold from the fridge, rendering tasteless feeling like clay. The only wine choices: red or white, some QC winery both. Overpriced. Only takes cash, which caught us unprepared (big group, bill over 300$). After serving our... read more

I agree with other reviewers that this place is overrated on tripadvisor. Cash only. Very slow service. Short and lazy menu.

We read the reviews and thought that we would give it a try. We phoned to see if we needed reservations. No, they were not busy. When we got there we found no one else there. The owner gave us a list of things that he had. The catch of day was delivered by the fisherman while we sat there.... More

We went there after a long day at Percé and had to come back an hour later since it was full. When we came back we were sorry to hear that the restaurant had run out of pretty much everything but we could still order a very very good gaspesian speciality. The owner explained the reasons for his limited menu... More

It's a small restaurant with a limited choice of dishes but all of them seem very good, according to the people around us. We had maple syrop scallops with boiled red potatoes, absolutely delicious! The vegetable cream that came as a a first course was very good too. A French couple at the nearby table had lobster, they were delighted... More

We stopped in for a late meal (9pm) and the owner/chef/waiter who spoke very little English was accommodating and friendly. There was a small table of four having a late dinner, too, and enjoying the last of their lobster dinner. We ordered the cod cakes which was served with a green salad. There were two good-sized cod cakes, perfectly browned... More

A bit of an odd restaurant with an eclectic menu. Many guests seemed to enjoying lobster. The cod cakes and fish we chose were okay however we wouldn't choose this restaurant to return to.

This is a quant restaurant, but can not handle larger groups. We were a party of twelve, our first choices were scallops...house special...but they did not have enough for our party...second choice was lobster...which was frozen and not thawed and served properly, very disappointing...and the wait for dinner was over two hours...if a large group be prepared to wait...unfortunately .

We went here attracted by Tripadvisor's positive reviews, but it was aesthetically quite disappointing and annoyed by some flies, which are not good to have around when you eat. the owner does everything (cooking, waiting tables etc.). That's an admirable fact, but it slows down the service. The soup and the scallops were nothing special and the bill was significantly... More

I was traveling Gaspésie alone by motorbike and happened upon this place. I heard it was where the locals went to eat which is what I was looking for. The Chef, Francios, was very friendly and the atmosphere was casual and real. I sat at the bar and we had a great time chatting. I watched as the local fishermen... More
