Now this has got to be one of the best tables in the Eastern Townships. We had supper there on Monday, October 13, 2014, around 7 PM. The restaurant was almost empty, we were just walking past it looking for a place to eat. Am I glad we ended up there! The restaurant itself is very modern, with a touch... More

We first ate at Restaurant Pinocchio when it was called "The Sins of Pinocchio" several years ago. We chose it from a listing of places to eat in Magog and were delighted with our find. Every year my husband and I come up to northern Vermont for a 6 day stay. As part of our trip, we take a day... More

As soon we entered in the restaurant we were greeted warmly by the hostess,we were not pushed by the service, the waitress was perfect!! The food was outstanding from our starters to our main courses. Ate at Pinocchio in early October during a weekend getaway to magog with my wife. Read the positive comments about the restaurant and passed by in the afternoon to see the place and to make a reservation in person. The decor is very nice. When we went back to eat later that evening we found the noise level a little... More

the hotel directed us to Pinocchio, a very stylish restaurant on the main street. After seeing no great alternatives we followed the recommendation. For a tuesday night service was fine, atmosphere good a there was a reasonable crowd. My wife chose the risotto which was good although on the verge of spending too long under he heat lamp. I chose... More

On our recent visit to the beautiful Magog area (from Vancouver) we were fortunate to be introduced to this restaurant by our hosts. Pinocchio is an amazing high quality restaurant with modern décor and a great outdoor patio. We were overwhelmed by the presentation, freshness and taste of our choice of meals. I highly recommend Pinocchio's for a memorable experience.... More

Great experience. Well-made cocktails. Well-chosen and reasonably priced wines. Professional bi-lingual service. Especially enjoyed the boudin noir, salmon tartare and veal liver. Nice molten choc dessert. Elegant decor. Modest pricing, all things considered. We'll be back

The town was beautiful when we were there in July. The restaurant is located on a very quaint street with lots of shops and people nearby. The veal gnocchi was terrible. The salmon tartare was equally bad. The menu items sounded so tasty but were undercooked and not fresh, respectively. The filet was way overcooked despite requesting medium rare. The... More

We feel this is the Best Restuarant in Magog. Recent renovations are fabulous. The staff is very pleasant. But most of all they are very accommodating. We both had the fish special, a black cod. We asked for a different preparation, which was very willingly agreed to. Excellent wine list. Fantastic ambience. The cuisine is wonderful. This is a must,... More

The entree I had at Pinocchio was the best meal I ate during a two week vacation to Quebec. Everything we ordered was excellent. For appetizers, I had butternut squash soup, while my husband ordered a simple green salad. For our entrees, my husband had the beef. I ordered veal medallions with gnocchi and truffles. It was outstanding, especially the... More
