Our party of 3 visited this place as we felt like eating Mexican, at least 2 of us did. But also for non-spicy food likers fahitas are always a good alternative. I enjoyed the Nacho chips with guacamole, next the cocos shrimps as starters and a 3 small chicken burritos with spicy sauce as main very much. We kept the... More

This restaurant offers you authentic Mexican food. I am not a big fan of Mexican food but this changed my heart. It had delicious plates with some family recipes involved. The cocktails are made with freshly homemade mixes. The energy is great and the staff is having a great time serving and making sure everyone is satisfied. I will definitely... More

This place has great mexican and tex-mex food. We tried the guacamole as an appetizer and the enchiladas as the main course. All of these were very tasty. The only exception was the quesadillas appetizer which was so-so. Also, their sangria is really good and recommended. Service was efficient and pleasant.

It's not your usual Tex-Mex restaurant, it is quiet authentic in taste & it generally give you a great feel. One thing you must order (in my opinion) is the "Camarones al Cocos", which comes with a tangy tamarind sauce. We had three different meals, the Enchaladas de Salsa Mole (Great choice), the Pescado Zerandeado & the Catch of the... More

We decided to try out this restaurant because unlike the other terrace restos on the main street, this one advertised a deck at the back on the river. It was a great peaceful location. The food was Mexican, and the portions were on the skimpy side. Two tortillas with a $9 appetizer was not adequate, and the meat and cheese... More

You will not get chips and salsa while you wait because this is not one of those Tex-Mex restaurants. This is true mexican cuisine, if you go to Mexico you dont get chips and salsa. The decor is very authentic. Makes you feel like you are in Guadalajara. Best cochinita pibil I've had outside of Mexico. Only downside was took... More

We asked for fajitas for two. They were excellent, we enjoyed it very much. The service was very nice and speditive. Just two minor points which could be improved: As my previous commenter mentioned, I aso missed the Chips and Salsa that you get in all what I call "Ma's and Pa's Mexican Cantina" (= independent owners, no chain restaurant).... We have visited Guacamole y Tequila once or twice a year since it opened, and were very grateful to have a Mexican restaurant in the area—sadly, we have felt that they have slipped badly this past year. This may be because they have opened a second restaurant in Sherbrooke (which I have not had a chance to try) and it... More

Nice cosy restaurant that offers traditional Mexican food. Everything is done on the spot by Mexican ladies. Different from what you get in most "North American Mexican" eateries. Well satisfied with the experience and will visit again.

So quiet but delicious. We had a good selection from the menu. The sauce on the fish was broken but very tasty. The kids had tacos and fajitas - they loved it all. Very friendly service.
