The food at L'eau a la Bouche is sumptuous and exquisite. We splurged and ordered the restaurant's "Discovery" menu, which allowed us to savour the region's "locavore" specialty foods that included a type of trout, partridge, fois gras, wapiti venison, a Quebec farmhouse cheese, plus dessert. Each dish was prepared in an original fashion and presented with beauty -- the... More

A warm and charming setting, with friendly and effective service. The food is excellent. My wife and I have been there a number of times for a couple's night out and thoroughly enjoyed it. And the level of quality was maintained this week when our business group of +45 people from across Canada went there for a special evening at... More

From the amuse bouche, house smoked salmon (served covered in a bell jar of smoke) with celeriac purée to the fabulous chocolate dessert, this restaurant delivers excellent and innovative food with warm and welcoming service. Hard to find just a few highlights but the attention to unusual and local vegetables (like cattails) and flowers to accent dishes was well done.... More

No menu on web, good ratings, it does not add up. We should have bolted when we saw the menu but the next restaurant was too far, so we stayed. The place was full last Saturday so maybe it's me, you decide. The appetizer of scallops prepared four ways for $21, pricey but surprise it is only one little scallop... More

House-maid leak raviolis, small season vegetables that I had never seen before. Good variety of mushrooms. Nice service from knowledgeable staff.

We were offered this dinner along with the stay at the hotel, which I commented in a separate review. We enjoyed this dinner very, very much; it was a no-fault experience. We had the 3-course menu, to which we added an extra starter. They first brought us a "mise-en-bouche": a cauliflower cream with smoked trout on top. The texture was... More

Had an amazing meal with my boyfriend this weekend. We chose the "menu découverte", and were really happy with all of the 6 courses of the meal. Quail, smoked trout, foie gras, pork, etc. with matched wine selection for each course. Of course, the meal is expensive : over 300$ for 2 with the wine. It surely is worth your... More
