Great food, quiet atmosphere

The food at Heartland is delicious and the service is fantastic, but it has the air of a place more suitable to take your Grandmother out for a fancy lunch date.

What a charming place to relax for lunch. Great atmosphere. Heartland Cafe has a wonderful lunch menu. Everything here is homemade. Yvonne, our server was great. Well worth a stop while on the road

This place is well worth the trip and has plenty of character. This fresh food menu has plenty to offer and is very tasty. Worth the drive if you are in the Calgary area.

No matter what you order, it will be excellent! This restaurant is often very busy and sometimes a bit slow to receive your food, but it is always fresh and worth waiting for! They have a nice patio as well, for lazy summer meals with friends and family. Their sandwiches, soups and salads are spectacular!

We went to the Heartland for brunch on a Sunday morning. The restaurant is usually booked solid (I am assuming by the reaction of the person that greeted us at the door when we said we didn't have a reservation). They were gracious enough to seat us and we enjoyed a fantastic brunch. The Eggs Benedict, my usual brunch selection,... More

My family have had lunch at this restaurant in two occasions. Both times we were very impressed with the quality of food. Everything is home made from top quality ingredients. The building was once a church, so it has lots of character, and I like the way they exhibit original artwork that is also for sale. The only thing is... More

The moment you enter the door it seems that you step in another world. Foods were good but nothing spectacular. We go few times in a year at this restaurant.

Here we are, three couples, hungry and looking for a great meal. We had reservations for six fifteen tonight and we were placed at our table as soon as we arrived. I have to tell you service was exceptional. Our server was awesome and to everyone else around us. She was literally running to make sure all was taken care... More
