Fresh change

We have been a fan of this restaurant for quite some time. Such a pleasant change from the chain type restaurants. We love the idea of eating local, organic food. They hold a lot of events here so it's a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation, even mid week. We started with the... read more

You need to be conscious of what you are looking for when looking for the Seasonal 56 restaurant. It sits on a main road but within an industrial building setting. Yet when you walk it it's a neat bistro that welcomes you with open arms and wraps you into a great eating experience. This was my first time but my... More

Was there last night for supper with a friend. In an out-of-way location, and could be easily missed, but Thank God it wasn't! From the moment we entered this establishment (with beautiful flowers around the outside door), you could tell it would be a dinner not to be forgotten! The verh friendly waitress showed us to our table (there was... More

We went to Seasonal 56 at a kind of last minute dinner out. We loved the ambiance and the decor and we were greeted and seated immediately. We had the cheese plate and the local cheeses and the candied pecans were great, we ran out of the homemade crackers and they were johnny on the spot with more. I had... More

In Aldergrove for business and happened upon Seasonal 56 while looking for a lunch spot: great find. Skip the fast food options all around - yes, you'll pay $8-$12 for your meal, a little more for a drink and have to leave a tip - but you'll have a nice meal in a lovely room and truly enjoy the experience.... An interesting restaurant, but in a very odd location - an industrial mall. The biscuits they serve instead of bread are fantastic but sparse. It's worth ordering a second basket. The beef tenderloin and pork chop are well worth the excessively long wait between courses. The waitress warned us they cook each dish separately (isn't that what a high end... More

Visited on a weeknight with 2 girlfriends. Had the owner as our server. She was great and quite entertaining. Food was awesome Squash and apple soup with cranberry compote was excellent. Spinach salad had a great dressing on it. Rabbit pot pie was seasoned perfectly. Hamburger was one of the best my friend had ever had. The potato chunks cooked... More

With the locally sourced food served here everything is fresh and cooked to perfection - you are warned when you order that you will have to wait about 30 minutes for your full course dinner meal to be prepared as nothing (other than the soup) is pre-cooked. If you want a wonderful take on the traditional caesar salad, try the... More

I probably wouldn't make an effort to go back, pricey and mediocre food. Nice change though to the limited selection in Aldergrove.

I have driven past this restaurant many times, whilst attending to business in the area. It is located in an industrial park, and for the life of me could not imagine what a restaurant, in a primarily manufacturing park, where food trucks and deli style cafes seem to be the norm, would be like. so when friends relayed that this...
