You won't leave hungry!

Ok it's not gourmet Italian food, however, if you are a pasta freak like I am you will probably be happy. I like that I can choose some whole wheat pasta. The decor is nothing special but people don't return again and again for the decor they come back because they love the pasta and the large... read more

Attended this restaurant April 3, 2015 (8:50pm). Not sure what all the hype is about. My impression is that in over-priced crowded Vancouver, people are impressed with ‘quantity’ over quality. That is what is being sold and there is a minimum charge policy that is not well publicized. The atmosphere was ‘rushed’ at best and the waitress too busy to... More

Antons delivers a consistent product year after year. The portions are huge and there is a massive selection to choose from. The sangria is good but you can find better in town. For an easy family dinner where everyone will find something to suit them, Antons is a solid choice. Plus, with the leftovers, most people will take home lunch... More

Went to Anton's with my parents for lunch on a Thursday and the place was pretty quite. I ordered Gnocchi Con Pesto Pomodori. It was my first time ordering gnocchi and it sure didn't let me down. The sauce was SOO good and had a strong pesto taste. Gnocchi had great texture overall I would say it was the best... More

Other than the fact u get enough pasta on your plate to fuel a hockey team, I don't understand the draw to this place. Judging by the line up out the door and quite often in the rain it becomes apparent that boiling a pot of water, adding some salt then a handful of pasta to said pot is a... More

I recently got take-out food from Anton's on my way home, where I'm renovating my kitchen. I had the seafood pasta with tangy tomato sauce, while my husband got the pasta with cream sauce, procuitto and peas. Our pastas were good--mine had a lot of shrimp, mussels, scallops--they didn't cheap out. My husband had hoped his dish would have mushrooms... More

We have been going to Antons for twenty plus years. It is still a favourite. The food, staff and prices keep us coming back. But since I will no longer stand in line we limit our visits to lunch and the days when others are at hm ie Thanksgiving, Easter etc.

How do they do it? It's like the Field of Dreams saying - if you build it, they will come. People line up consistently to get in and order plates of food that are sized to feed at least 2, if not 3 people. Come hungry. The food is not over-the-top extravagant, but it is good - and there is... More

Since we have heard about this place and constantly seen a lot of people lined up to eat at this establishment (hard to call it a restaurant) we decided to put our prejudices away and give it a try. What a mistake it. All we can say is that if The Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant is a tourist trap of... More
