Once in a month I go to this place with my family, really like their Lavash. I tried almost all the dishes. Beef iskander is the best one also guevach. But this place is little bt pricey....

We just left this restaurant and I had to submit a review on it. First of all, don't expect fancy decor and great service but you're going for the food, remember that! The food took a little long to come....maybe 30min but I would wait an hour! Their bread was unbelievable and the yogurt they serve it with will blow... More

My family has been all over the world, but never to Turkey. We decided the next best thing was Turkish food, so my wife found Anatolia's Gate. It was clean and simple in layout, with a big brick oven behind the counter. Turks love fresh bread called lavash, which is much like a pita on growth hormones. Ours was at... More

This restaurant is pretty low key and off the beaten path, but the food is fantastic. I always eat too much here, partly because of the delicious bread (which is huge!) that comes at the beginning with the great yogurt dip. We had the lamb curry, too, but with the large portions, had enough left over for another meal the... More

Excellent service and clean premises! They have Halal meat and some of the staff also spoke Arabic - making it easy to order and get directions. very large portions for a very reasonable price!

The first time we went there (two years ago) we were impressed by the quality of food. But the last two times we went there, we were really disappointed. They serve awesome bread and yogurt at the beginning of the meal, but that is the only good thing. All the kebabs are dry and the meat tasted awful. The rice... More

Our first time here, and I got to say, from the moment we walked in, to the moment we were seated, I couldn't tell who were waiters and who were cooks. Combine that with a restaurant that doesn't look polished, and you got a disaster on your hands. We were seated promptly. But never got our drinks until after our... More

Bread is fresh and fantastic. Meat: hard as a rock, uncooked and oh so old. Salad was fresh but tiny portion. We waited a full 70 minutes to get food coming to us, last plate came.... Yes two full hours after we were seated by which time our appetite was gone.

My husband and I love Turkey. And we love their Iskender kebabs - but in Vancouver, Turkish food is bland - not so with Anatolia's. They have cherry juice from Turkey, aryan, and the best most unfatty iskender kebabs. We do not live in Burnaby but we go to Anatolia's often and it is worth the bus ride and metro... More

The location is in a strip mall-type setting, but don't let that stop you. The food is varied & delicious. A huge lavash bread (white or whole wheat) with dip arrives as an appetizer. Main courses consist of beef and lamb (halal of course) in combination with roasted veggies. Try thé yogurt drink or thé tea. And leave room for... More
