Decent food - amazing price!

The food is delicious and they have a great selection. The price is cheap and they serve a lot of people. It won't be the best sushi you taste, but it is quite good, and you can't beat the price. Stick with the staples. Some of their fancier rolls are huge (about 3" across), and is hard to... read more

If you are all about the sushi, this place is a nice find. If you need ambience, décor, quality service, I suggest you go elsewhere. If you are looking for huge portions of sashimi and nigiri at very affordable prices, this is the place! I will return whenever I am in the area, because I was frankly stunned at the... More

I get takeout here without problems. Comparable to Samurai, but with seating. Limited parking out front; just park upstairs.

I seldom wrote review but this restaurant is ridiculous. The sushi is not fresh and pre-made. The tonkatsu and soft shell crabs are overcooked and so chewy. Not enough soup with udon and when asked for a bit more soup, got slapped at by server that "no" and she left. When we paid, we paid separately. One of my friends... More

The food is great but the execution of payment, pick-up, and being seated is terrible. To get a seat, you have to walk through the restaurant to the back cashier, then walk back out to the door to wait if the restaurant is full. When you pay, with only one cash register and credit card reader, everyone ends up waiting-... More

This little sushi restaurant is delicious! Great spicy tuna sashimi, tuna rolls, Alaska rolls for a decent price. The downfall of this place is the horrible service. The servers are rude and they treat you like they are doing you a favor. If you can look past the bad attitude the sushi itself is delicious.

This is a good place for a quick stop and go. But too noisy in my opinion, it must be the accoustics of the place. The main setting is small tables, type of bistro. but they can arrange them. I don't suggest large parties. Food is above average for a quick/cheap stop&go place. I guess that in a rush I... More

I met my cousin for a quick lunch mid-week and was surprised at how busy the restaurant was at 11:30am. We were seated right away by a not-so-friendly waiter/server. Come to think of it, all of the restaurant staff we encountered during this visit were quiet unfriendly. Anyway, we each ordered a spicy salmon sashimi ($8.95) and I also tried... More

Recently enjoyed a meal at the Lougheed Sushi Garden restaurant. It was our first time. We arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch...after 3pm. The place was hopping and apparently it always is. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. 4 of us ordered the following dishes: 1 miso soup, edamame, tempura udon, the special sashimi, yaki... More
