I met my cousin for a quick lunch mid-week and was surprised at how busy the restaurant was at 11:30am. We were seated right away by a not-so-friendly waiter/server. Come to think of it, all of the restaurant staff we encountered during this visit were quiet unfriendly. Anyway, we each ordered a spicy salmon sashimi ($8.95) and I also tried... More

Recently enjoyed a meal at the Lougheed Sushi Garden restaurant. It was our first time. We arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch...after 3pm. The place was hopping and apparently it always is. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. 4 of us ordered the following dishes: 1 miso soup, edamame, tempura udon, the special sashimi, yaki... More

Really, this place is only good for convenience and mediocre food. I usually do take out or pick up for lunch so I recently ate in for a work lunch and had a horrible experience. We had a group of 5, 4 of us were present and 1 was looking for parking (because obviously their parking situation is a disaster... More

We ordered a meal for two, and it was much more food than we expected. Quality was excellent. Good value for money.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday. There were quite a few of us (party of 9 consisting of 4 children) but the hostess found us seating right away, which we didn't expect. Also, my son did not eat sushi so we asked the waiter if it was okay for us to bring in some food from the... More

I'm a picky sushi eater - I liked limited things on the menu and always stick to a few favorites. I tried this with friends last week and they did a very good job of my favorite rolls: the California roll with real crab and a Yam Tempura roll. The yam roll was great because it wasn't just a hunk... More

We go here often, at least once a week. The place is clean, the food is good and portions are excellent. The customer service is still a bit of a concern as it is more of a get you in, get you out of there atmosphere. The service does seem to be improving a bit, but It could be because... More

Good selection of average quality sushi, limited other Japanese fare. Prices decent, service poor. Arrived a few minutes before the other half of my party of 4, 'host' would not seat my son and I despite restaurant being only one third full. Servers were impatient, kind of felt like we were imposing by asking for water refills. Food not good... More

The sushi was fantastic. The place is ok good and clean, and the decor is simple. Some items are quite cheap and in huge portion. However, it's quantity not quality. So, don't have high expectations of the rolls, sushi and sashimi. It's Korean-owned , service can be little to nonexistent because of the rush so best thing to do is... More

I love the alaska rolls here and I always will. The service is pretty good at this sushi garden compared to the other location. there also feels like there is a little more space. Still, be prepared to wait to be seated.
