Great Greek food in a small town

This is a local staple. Been here for many years. The roast lamb is a must try and I say they got the best calamari in town possibly the area

Their Greek Food is out of this world. Always busy, and menu never changes which is great as you know what to expect. Lunch or Dinner is always special. Family run business for years in Castlegar, We even had our wedding reception there in January. Love Peter and Lenore. and mention they know all their clients by name. Big hugs,... More

This by far is the best Greek food in town. My favorite is the ribs but many of their menu items are authentic and well prepared.

A typical small town restaurant run by family, who take great pride in the food they serve. Unfortunately the owners think their business is worth money, but fail to realize that " they are the business"!! My advice to the owners is to move uptown, and aggressively start advertising their great service and food. Your hours should compete with BP... More

I had the Calamari lunch and it was fantastic. Highly recommend it. I have had it there twice and great both times.

the setting is nice but small and cold and the cash register is right on top of someone's table. The food, IF the owner is cooking, is always great. Sometimes, the service is slow, again IF the owner wife is there. So conclusion is the owners are great and if you can time a visit to coincide with them being... More

As this place has been hyped quite a bit, I gave it a try - even though Greek food in North America is usually a disappointment, compared to the more authentic version in Europe or the real thing in Greece. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki, accompanied by a Greek salad. Price was around 20 dollars. The Greek salad was hands... More

Central location, fresh & tasty with some nice variations on traditional Greek fare, busy all the time (a good sign)

Very busy place right in downtown Castlegar. It is everything you'd expect at a Greek restaurant. Saganaki and chicken souvlaki were textbook. Why do smaller town Greek restaurants make greek salad with lettuce?
