BEST TEA EVER!

While in town house-hunting, our Realtor Carla Arnold took us for lunch at the Cafe Amantes. What a treat; it's a small contemporary cafe that serves up fresh homemade food and treats. Colleen swears it's the BEST tea she ever had, and her roast beef sandwich was very good. Carla had the soup of... read more

This place has really good seating and is very spacious but the menu is limited. Sandwiches and soups served only on certain days. But it's a great place for groups to gather, the seats are comfortable and leather. There is a bar table facing the street for people watching if you're by yourself.

While the coffee has been reliably good (not great), the atmosphere is good, and the service is very pleasant. I usually forget about Caffe Amantes as my heart has been captured by another Café in Comox, however I would consider Caffe Amantes a solid option for someone wanting a coffee and a snack. A nice place to meet someone, or... More

Not a coffee drinker although I go with a friend who says they offer whatever you are looking for. I usually get an iced tea or London Fog on a cold day with those little cookies, who can resist those little cookies?? :) Absolutely my go-to place when I need a sandwich fast as I am hooked on their deviled... Very nice intimate eating areas. Extensively re-modeled. Now features a great selection of food prepared on demand. Great coffee. They blend tea on the spot so you can get your own personal flavour favorites which is a great touch.

This is a quiet place to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee. It is family run and offers comfortable seats in a small venue that is well suited for the area in Comox.

Went in one day when it was drizzle outside... nice and cozy inside. Great start! Ordered coffee and something to nibble for two. Found the coffee very weak. We found it weaker than Tim Horton's (not a great standard to use, but one that is widely understood). It is right in the centre of Comox, so we may try it... More
