Atlas for the win

This gem in the middle of Courtney was a huge find for us. There was a line up out the door when we arrived but were greeted immediately. The atmosphere is calm and the location has a lot of seating so we didn't have a long wait. They serve breakfast until 2pm and all of the dishes going out look... read more

Lunch time and such a decision where to go. Googled best restaurant in Courtenay and up came Atlas Cafe. This place was hopping at noon as it's also open for breakfast/brunch. We were greeted and asked to wait a few minutes for the next table. Checked out the clean and neat washrooms while waiting. Very nice decor and unusual business... More

As a family group of five, we went to Atlas based on the recommendation of one of the members of the party. Collectively, we have many dietary restrictions, but we had no problems finding wonderful options for all. Although the restaurant was very full (we made reservations), the service was friendly and swift. The food was outstanding. This is my... More

I was happy to be here on my own as there was a good lineup at lunch time. There wasn't really anything on their lunch menu that tickled my fancy, so I went with the quesadilla. There were some things that I asked to not have on the top of it and that request was not fulfilled. It was ok... More

While looking for house in the Comox Valley almost 10 years ago, our Realtor took us to Atlas for dinner. Smart move! We fell in love with the amazing food, wonderful service and casual but nice ambiance. Over the years, it has been consistent and still terrific. The dinner fresh sheet is usually our choice, as they do things to... More

I love the Atlas. It's a friendly place and you can tell they've put in thought and are passionate about creating delicious meals with affordable prices. Highly recommend for any time of day for a business lunch meeting to a lazy Sunday morning Egg Bennys.

The Atlas simply does everything right. They are very friendly and obliging, the food is always great, and the service is top notch. The quality is always consistent. I have been to the Atlas many times over the past few years and have never been the least disappointed.

At a recommendation of friends we chose this restaurant to invite a couple for dinner. I had never eaten there and was curious. They do not take reservations for less than 6 people and we had to wait for 20 minutes on their busiest night of the year (Dec 22nd). We used this time to have a drink at the... More

The food and atmosphere at the Atlas is one I will return to again and again. Great food and service, and the price was surprisingly alright for the high quality of food you receive. I will return many times. Great menu for a couple to treat themselves for a romantic dinner for two, or great for lunch with a friend.... More

I had heard that this location served consistently good food so as I was in Courtenay decided to check it out. Arrived mid day and had to wait around fifteen minutes for a table. I had the local mussels which were plump, sweet, and served in a delicious broth. Also served with it was toasted focacia bread which was also... More
