We went to the Timber Room for dinner on a Saturday evening and were impressed with the appearance of the lobby of the hotel which shares a building with this establishment. The lounge itself looked nice enough, although upon sitting we noticed that the chairs were especially low compared to the height of the tables. This sounds like (and is)... More

Decor was pleasant and the view of the Golf Course was great - spring and summer seating on the deck is great

We dine here a fair amount as we live a few blocks away and we have seen some ups and downs over the years. Comings and goings of chefs and managers. The room itself as is named has very nice timber pillars and woodwork as the owner of the resort is the owner of an an active logging company so... More

One of my favourite places to go to with my friends. Thursday nights they have their rib and onion rings coleslaw special for $10.99. A generous portion, and the rings are not greasy. They make a very good caesar drink too! On nice days you can sit on their patio and watch the golfers (and deer). Been there many times... More

Read a few bad reviews so I wasnt expecting much. The food was excellent - had the "Black and Blue Steak Salad" Steak was exactly what I asked for, service was attentive and friendly and the final bill with wine was appropriate. Noisy room and the music was a version of Muzak at a rave I think but overall solid... More

Breakfasts are on the expensive side. Better for lunch on the pleasant outdoor patio, overlooking the golf course and with mountain vistas in the distance. Granville Island beer on tap. Service is slow.

Nice place a little pricier food is average, long waits never enough seating room but you can sit outside on the grounds of the golf course if there is room.

Many are the reviews that I have written...even a very good one for this restaurant in the past. After last night I must rewrite my review and downgrade this restaurant. The food is good, the atmosphere enjoyable but the service is absolutely unacceptable. My husband did his own review but I have to withdraw my opinion from a few years... More

So this wasn't our first visit here but we recommended it to our friends and it was their first visit. We arrived early to secure a patio table for our party of eight. We said our friends would be joining us in about half an our but we would like to order appies and drinks to get started before they... More
