We took our staff the for annual christmas party Saturday night. We had preselected from the menu and after an initial hiccup by the waiter, had an excellent supper with great snappy service. We were a party of 9 and the food arrived fast and furious, hot, fresh and very tasty. They even served fresh olive oil from one of... More

Went there with a few friends after we found out the Atlas is closed on Mondays. Had the roast lamb. Portion of lamb was small but the dish came with potatoes, veggies and greek salad. Pretty good spot but I wouldn't recommend it with your buddies. More of a family/wife type establishment. Food was good but not the best I've... More

Pleasant service, staff certainly aim to please, but a strange atmosphere and decor for a Greek restaurant. Yiamas is to the front of the Avalanche Hotel, a hostel-type, older style building, that needs a facelift. Being so accustomed to either the traditional blue and white Greek restaurants, or more elegant settings, the old, stained ceiling tiles and dull colours were... More

I can not possibly explain how great the food was with words. I stopped in with a friend and shared the "platter", which had a bit of everything. The two of us, who were quite hungry, ate until we were stuffed, then ate some more because it was so very good. I will have a tough time eating anywhere else... More

This was an amazing meal. The server was pleasant and very accommodating. We waited only a reasonable time, and the food was delicious! My husband had heard of Yiamas from a colleague at work, and we went with our two children (8 and 2) and my mother. Everyone enjoyed their food...which is not so common with my kids, from the... I am vegetarian - only eat fish - so was very happy to find they served prawns. I have had MANY lunches there - it has become my group of 6 friends' fave meeting place. The owner is ALWAYS friendly and will try to accommodate special preferences. We will continue to lunch here and also special dinners - like my anniversary.... More

We have been to Yiamas a few times and consistently found the food to be very good. The portions are a decent size , the appetizers are great and the service is excellent.

After reading all the reviews n this date I expected a great meal. Instead, my lamb souvlaki was chewy and not very flavorful. Portions were small, too, though given the quality it is the least of my criticisms.
