Breakfast is wonderful - try the maple sausages. We have been there for lunch and dinner as well, everything is good. Schnitzle is great so is the mac & cheese. It can get busy and there has only been one wait staff any time we have been there, nice thing is the servers did not get flustered and cranky, just... More

My son and I stopped here for a treat for dinner yesterday and we were seated, and then ignored. There were 2 staff on the floor for 6 tables. I drive by here frequently and noted there were some tripadvisor comments so gave it a try. One page menu with usual items. Nice shaved ham and scrambled eggs were great. coffee 2 choices and I had the dark roast. Be aware they charge for coffee refills, a sin in my books! $ 1 otherwise would rate it excellent

Abundant portions allowed us both to have our fill. Home baked beans, potato salad and cornbread. All excellent. We will be going back again.... More

Driving on the Old Island Highway between Courtenay and Campbell River at breakfast time, I decided to check out this relatively new eatery since I had to slow down through the Village anyway. I ordered the standard breakfast; something I often find to be below standard in many eateries. Happily I discovered here the eggs were the right shade of... More
