Once you've been to Hot Chocolates on 5th t. in Courtenay you will always come back! It's slightly addictive.

Hot Chocolates. cold chocolates, dark and light chocolates, yummy chocolates.....all made here & most of them are irresistible! I have several birthday friends that I always buy a box of mixed chocolates for, and am always tempted to buy 2 or 3 for myself.....hmmmm, Raspberry Truffle, Dark Almond... read more

We send all of our B&B guests to Hot Chocolates, and everyone comes back smiling. Lots of choices, plus an artisan bakery. The truffles are awesome.

Delicious, pure ingredient treats here. A small box goes a long way as they are very rich. Well worth the price.

This place is a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth; especially if you love hand-crafted quality chocolates. Salted, toffee caramels, barks, truffles as well as fun molded treats make this place a "treat" to visit. Don't forget the Jelly Bean station!

This place is expensive but the quality is worth the price. It's for that little 'treat yourself on your day off with a pal' kind of place. There is a broad selection of chocolates and you can pick and choose what you want. The candy selection is pretty good too. This is not Tim Horton's, nor is it Purdy's- it's the... More

I visited the store but didn't buy anything - a visiting friend did buy chocolates which were admittedly very good if not a tad expensive. $2 a piece. The store sells bread and pastries - the only quality bakery in Courtenay AFAIK, of course the chocolate and confectionery business, a coffee bar, and a section selling various oils and vinegars.

Hot Chocolates make a beautiful truffle. They are creamy, dreamy, and hit all that chocolate goodness that a good chocolate should. There are many flavors that are good but if you like me you are a caramel person......they make an excellent on. So the next time your sweet tooth is talking to you, stop in and get your fix.

Hot Chocolates does just not well the best hand made chocolates in BC but it has a small bakery as well. In addition to dark & milk chocolates it has the best hot chocolate beverage in the Comox Valley. The staff are always friendly and eager to serve you!
