Some of the best chocolates that I have ever had. The price is high, but we get what we pay for and the chocolates are definitely worth it. They have some wonderful samples of various vinegar and oils, great ice cream and of course, fantastic chocolates !

Excellent quality chocolate in one section of shop - on the other side top qualit and variety of breads are available. Great place to stop when out shopping on 5th Street for a hot chocolate or latte topped off with a yummy scone or coffee cake!

The chocolates are great, the tea wonderful but I like the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting area the best. Dozens of different infusions and flavours to try with bread, even some walnut oil. Great for gift boxes!:)

The ice creams come in many flavours and are extremely flavoursome. The chocolates certainly looked very appealing.

We stopped by Hot Chocolates for coffee and hot chocolate, this was my first time here and I was very impressed. Drinks were very good, and the chocolates looked insanely good! Certainly an interesting option to the typical Starbucks coffee while visiting Courtenay.

Chocolates from Hot Chocolates in Courtenay are always a treat. They are a gift comonly given in Courtenay and also a gift that our international students take home with them when they go home as a representation of Courtenay. My favorite truffle is Berry Quartet. Hot Chocolates also sells flavoured syrups for coffee and fresh brewed lattes and coffees.

A visit to Hot Chocolate & Cake Bread Bakery has now become a 'must-do' when I visit Courtenay. This time, it wasn't just one visit - and for the first time, I decided to get a birthday cake there. First the cake. I ordered the Belgian Chocolate Fudge. My husband was so happy! Very rich and dense; four layers of... More

My daughter and I stopped in here just browse. We ended up buying some gelato. Absolutely delicious. Made right on the premises. Generous serving. The bakery side has fresh bread and sandwiches, as well as cakes, pies and cookies. And the chocolates........ oh my. Will definitely go back for more.
