Best dining in the valley

Stayed at the St Eugene Mission and enjoyed the Grill for two dinners. Fabulous food, excellent service and nice scenery. Very effective use made of local ingredients. Top end restaurant, top end pricing but you definitely get what you pay for !

Good food although somewhat pricey. Beautiful setting/views and wonderful service. The breakfast sandwich is great value and a meal in itself.

The eggs benedict was delicious, eggs were cooked perfectly and not smothered in sauce. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice setting with a great view.

We ate there two nights and the food was good and the lounge was quiet and very comfortable. We had invited two senior guest and they really enjoyed the place.

We had reasonably priced breakfast daily during our stay. Dinner was quite expensive so we ate in the lounge instead.

The salad was bland and had big chucks of garnish that you couldn't actually enjoy with the lettuce. I ordered a medium steak and it was almost raw - I couldn't eat it - the server asked me what was wrong - I told her and then the manger shows up - very annoying. Upshot I couldn't (and didn't) eat... More

Second time here. Food has been excellent both times. Nice to see bison on the menu. Ask for a window table good view. Prime rib done perfectly to my liking, medium rare. Service good for leisurely dining. Highly recommend. Dan 30 year's professional chef, retired.

Stayed for 2 nights at St Eugene Mission Resort in Cranbrook. We ate a number of meals in the Purcell Grill. They were all great. The omelette I had was great as well as the service. Dinner was awesome, selections that I haven`t seen on other menus, like elk and venison as well as other fare. I had the elk... More
