Had dinner there around 8pm. It seems loud as there is nothing to absorb the sounds of the coffee machines and the kitchen noise. The noodle dishes were wonderful. But I do think $16 is a little pricey for a noodle dish. the vegetables were fresh and bright. And the staff as I said were bubbly, helpful and happy! We... More

We were looking for something different and wanted to dine outdoors. We found the combination of great Thai food and great service and sunny patio was just perfect. Will return and enjoy breakfast next time as they serve the best coffee in Cranbrook.

I can see why some people say this is their fave restaurant and others aren't impressed by it. There are some dishes I've had here that were so bland, I'm glad it wasn't my first experience at Hot Shots or I'd never have gone back. I really wasn't fond of their satays or the pad thai at all. But...their wraps... More

Had pad thai chicken and the almond salad extremely good food and service but the seats the floor and tables were very dirty. Especially the seats and floors. Not good! They really need to keep the place clean!

Ordered the noodle dish with chicken. When it arrived, thought it was the appetizer portion. The udon noodles came with an excessive portion of cooking oil. "They just slid down, no chewing required" Much to my surprise, they forgot the chicken and I could count the number of vegetable pieces on the fingers of one hand. (The menu states the... More

Not sure if we will go a fourth time, not because anything was "bad", just that it is nothing special either. Food is ok as is the variety on the menu. A bit pricy. Service is good. The building itself has nothing to deaden the sound, so it can be quite noisy, especially at lunch time. The outdoor patio is... More

Had lunch there last week. Had the Pho. Everything was fresh but no taste whatsoever. My company had the shrimp wrap and said it was great. Will try a curry bowl b4 I rule them out for good. Ambience is great and very freindlt and attentive staff.

A nice surprise in Cranbrook! This "rail town" is sorta Wal-Martish. But, Hot Shots Cafe is a step in another (better) direction. Good coffee in the morning, great Asian food in the evening. Staff is attentive and have demeanor they are having a good time working at this venue. For dinner I had a yellow curray/rice bolw. Very tasty and... More
