Roustabouts has good food and nice ambiance, it can be a bit load at times. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Our group had a good time there. A good place to check out in Fort St John.

The last to times we ate here we waited at the front for a table for over 20 mins only to find out when we sat down over half the place was empty. Both times we sat at a table for over 20 minutes after being seated without a waitress. Both times I had to get up and make them... More

Had great service and food. Both the french onion soup and seafood chowder hit the spot. The mains were also great. The server was always checking in on us despite the place being quite busy.

I had their "Szechuan From The Sea -Tender scallops & shrimp with wok vegetables in red chili pepper sauce, topped with roasted peanuts. Served with your choice of chow mein or sticky rice." I was NOT impressed. The chicken was too breaded and deep fried and the rice was cold. Not sure I'd order that again, but I would go... More

This place is good value. Went in and had to choose from a good selection of interesting items that seemed to have some quality and care in the preparation. We ordered a chicken burger with avocado and a beer can chicken. Both were very tasty. The server was very pleasant and professional. Overall a positive experience. Would go back.

We went to Roustabouts, and we were all happy with the food and service. Everyone seems to be quite happy working there, and in it shows in the food and service. Try the balsamic salmon.

I ate there twice. Both times I had the Carribean Curry (with chicken) and a salad. Outstanding. Also the service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough. Prices reasonable. This is just a fine place.

We must have hit it a a good time because the service and the food was prompt and professional. Everyone in the family enjoyed their dinner. Fort St. John needs more restaurants like Roustabouts.

Not a place you want to take a large group because it's small. Very dimmly lit. Waitresses have always been great, even when it's busy. One of the few places in town that serve more than just pub-type meals.

Upon arriving with a party of 6, we were asked if we were prepared to wait. The hostess informed us that the wait would be 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, she informed us the wait would be longer as the kitchen was backed up. Being from out of town, we were not familiar with the set up of the restaurant.... More
