LegendZ is on the side of the Trans Canada Highway in the small town of Golden. The staff are local folks and very friendly. The diner was not busy when I was there and the service I got was immediate and personal. The food is what you would expect to find in any small town restaurant. I have not had... More

Retro diner complete with juke box red & white tiles and a waitress who keeps topping up your coffee! I loved the bacon butties and eggs, but hash browns are not for me.

I remember years ago when the previous owners had established this place. It was always clean, service was great and the food was a good price considering most people couldn't finish their meals. That is no longer the case. Lets start with the service, if you could call it that. Once we sat down it took the servers awhile to... More

We went here because it looked a bit different, and we were not disappointed. The decor is very 50's. The staff were friendly, helpful nd efficient. The food was good. There were a couple of issues about wine: I was informed by the waitress that it was " from a box" and told her that was okay and ordered a... More

Mid afternoon lunch. I like these kind of 50s diners OK its no different from the usual Elvis, chrome and plastic themed diners. Our expectations were not high, the food was OK, we enjoyed the special. It was all about the service, the waitress was cheerful welcoming and chatty, that surely makes a difference in my book. I have no... More

Unfortunately we stopped here to eat on our way home to Alberta...should have kept driving! I don't think the floors have ever seen a mop...EVER! The cleanliness was a bit scary, and I'm actually surprised we even stayed to try the food. I had the eggs benny...the worst packaged sauce I have ever tasted! Was clear, thin and lacked of... More

With a family of 4, and wanting something other than fast food, we passed this place and said "sure, why not?" The place was quaint, and fashioned like what a diner for the 50s would be like. Lots of variety from the menu, and something for everyone (even my picky child). The Monte Cristo I thought was quite delicious! The... More

Every summer for about 10 years I took the Greyhound up North and it always passed by Legendz Diner, I have been dreaming about chowing down here since I was a teenager, well my chance finally arrived when my boyfriend and I headed to Golden for some camping, and I was definitely a little disappointed. The Diner itself is pretty... More

Your first impression of this restaurant from the road is "fun." It's a classic 50s diner-style, friendly, sling-the-hash kind of chow place. When you go in, the fun continues with red-vinyl booth seats, lots of chrome and neon, and a grill right behind the counter where, from some tables, you can watch your food being cooked. In spite of the worn... More
