Great food, great atmosphere and great service with prices comparable to eating in the day lodge. So why would you line up for canteen food when you can have restaurant quality food in a venue with a great atmosphere?

But friendly servers! Food was okay. Patio is awesome at the end of the day. DJ rocked. Selection pretty good. Prices fair.

Ok, so I know the rule. Don't order seafood when you're not on the coast. Well, call me a rule breaker. I had the Salmon, it was fantastic. Overall, a bit pricey for the portion(s), but when a meal is served this good, sometimes quality is better than quantity.

This is a fairly upscale restaurant in an log style building that disguises the good food and wine list inside. Very knowledgeable owner who is passionate about his establishment. Try the Bison Ribs.

I have ate once in the restaurant and that was just the soup of the day. The second time was a catered event at the golf course. This was not at all what I was expecting. For serving hamburgers and sausage coleslaw with apple crisp for desert. The sausage was very hot, to hot to finish. The coleslaw was inconsistent... More

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, terrific service. The bison ribs and bison ribeye steak were wonderful (and the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables that came with them). But I'm devastated to learn that they are closing at the end of August (my thanks to TripAdvisor reviewer Jerome 67 for this unhappy news...). It has city prices, but the food is... More

Was tipped in the lonely planet as a good place to have dinner. Food was cooked very good with fresh ingredients, you could taste it. Really liked my salmon. Bit pricy but worth it. The owner told me he was closing down end of August, we were the only guests that night.

My boyfriend and I ate here to celebrate our engagement and it was wonderful! The atmosphere was lovely, quite cozy. There is a very large patio out front if just there for drinks. I had a spinach salad with chicken which was very good and my fiancé had a steak which was just slightly over cooked. You can't get many... More

We came across this restaurant walking through Golden and it looked very nice. It turned out we had our best steak dinner during our 4 week holiday in Canada right here! The steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection. We were served by the owner. The place was quite full (we opted for the nice outdoor terrace) and still service... More

We liked the contemporary Canadian cuisine in a rustic, log cabin setting
