Good food and wine, relaxed but professional service

Imaginative selection of local food, beer and wine plus some wine from further afield. Busy but nice atmosphere. We ate there twice in a week one evening was a bit boisterous but the restauarnt handled that with skill and good humour. Good locatio.n

After experiencing the "entertainer" at Peaks in Kicking Horse Village, we were looking for a place for dinner without the drive to Golden. We were pleasantly surprised to find Cork's just up the hill. Excellent food served by awesome staff in a semi-casual atmosphere. we highly recommend free range chicken and the Greens salad. Felix Belczyk has a winner here.

Having arrived late and exhausted from 16 hours of travelling and perilously close to closing time, this restaurant still delivered a yummy meal without hurrying the guests along. That's professional service! Food was pleasing to both eye and pallet.

We had our wedding reception catered by Corks Restaurant and could not have been happier! The food was exquisite, thoughtfully prepared and creative. The chef is incredibly talented, and his dedication to his art showed in every single dish. His handmade semifreddo, cranberry/goatcheese/pistachio salad, and elk sirloin were huge crowd favourites. We were accommodating a variety of dietary needs and... More

I ate here Friday, and wow. The food, and presentation was everything you could ask for. This place is at the base of the mountain, with surrounding views everywhere you look. The wonderful waitress recommended a glass of red wine which paired perfectly with my burger. The produce are high quality and you'll taste the difference. I can't say enough... More

Just had one of the best suppers I have ever had. Literally, amazing! The service was fantastic, and the food was exquisite. My brother had the short ribs and mashed potatoes best he has ever had. My mom had some maple chicken that was the best cooked chicken she has ever had. Beautiful plate presentation on her dish. I went... More

We were at Kicking Horse for four nights, luckily we tried this place on the first night so we had time to go back again. Beautifully cooked and presented, tasty and hearty, a true mountain gem. Service was friendly and prompt. Cocktails were good, but same cocktail was completely different on the second visit!

Great food, excellent service, and the owner is former Olympian and world cup downhill skier Felix Belczyk (sorry if I didn't spell this right, Felix!). The Copper Horse hotel is lovely, and Cork's is just downstairs. Try the Bourbon Mojito, made with Canadian Maple syrup, mint and fine whiskey. You're going to love this place!

Enjoyed the food here and was the best place to eat during the week in Kicking horse. They do an early menu from 5 - 6 of which the ribs were excellent although the fondue was not to the same standard as their other food. The service was good and cocktails ideal. The environment is good and it always seems... More

Had a good meal here. Liked the variety on the menu especially the Elk Linguini. Very brave to do this dish as elk can be tough. Presentation was good. Wine selection is limited but we found our favorite. The Date dessert was fabulous. Prices were reasonable.
