This place never disappoints. Have eaten here many times. If you like homemade, this is the joint. Always bustling with customers, this diner provides it all from great soups, real French fried potatoes, and oodles of dessert options, all homemade. Check out its massive cinnamon buns or chocolate pie. Not too hungry? Try a bowl of Turkey barley soup or... More

Very good food and a large portion, we had lunch here and although this place is old it has a certain quality that is really nice, we will eat here again for sure!

we were pointed in the direction of this establishment by a local lady...and we weren't disappointed. Lots of good old home-style cooking, at pretty good prices. I had the closed denver with salad and my buddy had the blt and fries...both were very good. Service was pretty good also.

We love having big breakfasts, and this was a good place to get what we wanted/craved. The shoe string hash potatoes were done perfectly, and the side of fruit was fresh. So fresh, that the apples had come from the owners tree! We eyed the pies, but were too stuffed to have any. (We're sure they were good though.)

We ate dinner and breakfast here. Dinner was poor - my steak was gristly and my wife's mac cheese was stodgy. The price was low and the food filled a hole so, OK. Breakfast was not that great either. However, the service was good and friendly. It's simply that this place is not as good as previous reviews say, in... More

I would not eat here again. All the food tasted the same. Terrible fries - limp and greasy. Portions are huge but personally I'd rather have a smaller slice of a nicer pie!! Service was okay but you get the impression the server would rather be some place else. The locals seem to love it tho' so maybe I'm missing... More

A very friendly family restaurnat with great service. Kelsey does not walk from table to table but practically jogs! Simple food but of good quality. Flat iron steak salad was excellent as well as the euro dog.

after our catastrophic experience at the dolce vita in Hope on our way up to the okanagan, (see review ) we did not expect such a nice meal . Split pea soup home made, delicious , and grilled chicken with salad . This is a great stop and the atmosphere of the diner brings you back to the 50s movies... More
