Good breakfast; go hungry.

We were on the road from Vancouver to Salmon Arm, and stumbled on this restaurant when the breakfast urge hit us. It is a down home kind of place--no frills, just good country cooking. It is called Home Restaurant for good reason. I had a huge ham and cheese omelet with a mountain of hash... read more

A thorough cross section of simple, home cooked offerings. My spouse had a chicken burger w feta n spinach while I had a combination chicken Caesar n Home salad w every veggie available. Located at the end of the service road at the base of the mountains, it is easy to overlook n opt for fast food. That would be... More

Hated waiting but it was jam packed so that was good/bad: good because you know its popular and bad because my feet hurt. It was worth the wait. Good family restaurant. Worth the wait.

We went here for a hearty home cooked meal on the road. The waitress first off was very side tracked and could not care less about "strangers". She was very friendly with the "locals" who were dining. The food was average. I had a hot turkey with mash. The meat was skimpy and the potatoes were watery. My hubby had... More

Nice varied menu. The waitress was sure to pay attention and clarify my special dietary needs. Friendly.

The food was cold when it came out. Service was very poor. Young kids working and they were more interested in laughing behind the waitress station and eating. Would definitely not go again.

This was supposed to be the best restaurant in Hope. The others must be terrible! The waitresses were extremely rude, and the food was just awful.

This restaurant has great food and huge portions. It's always busy, so make sure you have time. We always make a point of eating here every time we pass through Hope.

The food is always good. I especially like the homemade soup and the baking. My only complaint would be it is usually so busy it is difficult to get a place to park. The building is a little cramped for space so getting in the door can be a challenge....but it is worth it!
