The chefs at Joe's Restaurant & Lounge rarely look farther than 150 kilometres away for their meats and produce, sourcing organic ingredients from farmers throughout the Fraser Valley whenever possible. These ingredients lend harvest-fresh flavours to their eclectically influenced menu, which includes aged-in-house Angus steaks alongside traditional Creole, Indian, and Italian entrees. They also whisk together all of their own sauces and dressings, and modify dishes to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets. The restaurant features outdoor seating for scowling at clouds during the warmer seasons, and shelters guests with rich earth tones and dark wooden accents within the dining room. Red tulips add vibrant splashes to the decor, as do the tabletop colouring sheets that busy children's hands pre-meal.

Food was hot and fairly quick to arrive at the table. Waitresses were very friendly and available to fill glasses / cups as needed. Have not been in this restaurant for almost 2 years now, difficult to find parking on the street as it has no parking lot.

Love this place, the food is amazing, the servers are wonderful. The chef comes out to chat. We are so lucky to have this place in our little town. I highly recommend this place.

Great food with a passionate chef wanting to make a difference with exceptional food sourced with local produce. Truffle chips.....chips with truffle oil, lemon juice and cheese.....what an amazing combo!!!!! Locally souced Salmon smoked on site- divine! And ample servings. Niro, the chef then insisted we try out his newest pudding release....and upside down divided cheesecake....the 'mud' was delicious...cocoa and... More

It's called 293 Wallace (name changed 2 years ago). Only fine dining in town. Excellent food and friendly but still professional service. Try the vege wrap. It's delicious. Had the best lobster bisque ever here

We went to Joe's for dinner mainly upon the recommendation of others who had enjoyed a meal here before. The atmosphere/ambiance was very nice, service quick and the waitress friendly. I had the wings and a Salad, both very good with a couple of minor issues, (Almonds in Salad were Stale and the BBQ Wing flavour was more like a... More

This Restaurant is top notch. Should be downtown Vancouver. The young owner, Hiro, is well studied in the art and his high standards show through in the atmosphere, menu, presentations and taste. Also, a great team of hard workers that seem to share the owners passion in working to satisfy their customers. Price? Well, you do pay a little more,... More

We stopped in Hope on our way to a work assignment farther north. I had succulent salmon filets (prepared Sous Vide) with baby red potatoes, fresh spinach, on a herbed dill sauce garnished with deep but lightly fried brussel sprouts, paper-thin radish and fennel strips. (I think.) The presentation was original and I hadn't tasted anything quite like it before.... More
