While there were only a few people in the restaurant for dinner, the service was exceptionally slow. The portions were very small, and pricey. The waitress was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was tasty. However, nothing to write home about here. I won't be returning.

This restaurant's name was changed to 293 Wallace Street Restaurant. I think the chef aims a little bit higher than your average restaurant, and so the presentations of the food are a bit more refined, which may cause some people to find the portions too small, but that doesn't alter the quality of the food, which is - basically -... e went here today based on the awesome reviews. Server was a grump, charged us $10 for a side salad, buffalo chicken wrap had less than an ounce chicken in it. Nachos are nothing like the picture you see from the photos. Only nice thing was the patio. Gross otherwise!

Desserts are amazing. Thats pretty much it. I have given this restaurant many tries but it just never has impressed me. The prices are too high with the exception of the desserts.

Yes it's vancouver elitist of me to say but I didn't have hope (excuse the pun) for a late night meal as we drove into Hope at the end of a 4 day backcountry road trip. The food was very good and so were the rose spritzers. A Japanese chef in Hope BC serving upscale casual and doing it well.

Joe' s may have been renamed to '293 Wallace Street Restaurant' but the quality is as described in the TA reviews - very good. We booked a table, and glad we had given that the place was full on our arrival. The service was a little on the slow side, but the food was worth waiting for. Had chicken risotto,... More

We had planned to eat at Blue Moose because we had enjoyed lunch there last time we visited Hope, but I'd read good reviews of 293 Wallace so we took a chance on somewhere new. We weren't disappointed - the fish and chips we ordered were delicious and just the perfect treat after a day of hiking. The batter was... More

We went Joe's based on reviews. We were there around 1.30 in the afternoon. The food took forever to arrive at the table. The service was OK, I think they forgot our order perhaps. Once we received the food the lamb burger was good and the fish and chips was somewhat over cooked. So we had a mixed bag. But... More

Wallace restaurant in Hope...we accidentally found this as we were on the way to the rockies. Being from Europe we found the food wonderful, tasty yet healthy and light meals on the menu. Great salads with salmon. Next table ate a delicious looking hamburger... We came early on Monday for lunch, but the place filled up quickly, busy little place... More

My wife and I arrived in Hope after dark and at first glance had little expectation for anything more than a barely adequate meal in whatever restaurant we had left still open at 8:30 PM. We took a chance own Joe's and boy were we pleasantly surprised! We shared the three-course fixed-price menu ordering The crispy pork belly on white... More
