The chefs at 293 Wallace Street Restaurant rarely look farther than 150 kilometres away for their meats and produce, sourcing organic ingredients from farmers throughout the Fraser Valley whenever possible. These ingredients lend harvest-fresh flavours to their eclectically influenced menu, which includes aged-in-house Angus steaks alongside traditional Creole, Indian, and Italian entrees. They also whisk together all of their own sauces and dressings, and modify dishes to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets. The restaurant features outdoor seating for scowling at clouds during the warmer seasons, and shelters guests with rich earth tones and dark wooden accents within the dining room. Red tulips add vibrant splashes to the decor, as do the tabletop colouring sheets that busy children's hands pre-meal.

Good place for dinner

While the Tesla is charging, this is my favourite dinner stop. Truffle fries are a family fave. In the summer they open up the 'garage door' windows, beautiful looking over the park.

Another one of our favorite places to eat when in Hope. The food is very tasty and good portion sizes with a variety of options means there is something for everyone.

In Hope this is the closet to fine dining you'll get and imo they are doing just great in building themselves as a respectable place to enjoy above average food. I no complaints about the meal or service. Our server was actually quite attentive to us and was friendly. The food was tasty and well portioned. The highlight of my... More

Today, due to stormy weather flight cancellations, I was forced to take on a last minute challenging ten hour drive from the interior of BC to Vancouver. As it got dark I decided to stop in the small town of Hope, about two hours from the city. I not only found a lovely BnB (The Evergreen) but also, because of... More

Ok i really don't get it? the food here is excellent . When i go out to eat and pay top dollar i want to get good service. I have had better service at burger king or a taco stand, This place needs a service manager that understands good service and has some standards. I will never eat here again.

Did not expect this as we drove through Hope around lunch time. Stopped in to this nice little bistro and both my husband and I were blown away by the creative menu and quality of the dishes. Cannot say enough about the curried chicken soup (velvety broth was awesome), blue cheese & hazelnut over delicious greens and a not super-sized... More
