We had a wonderful walk while experiencing the back lanes of Nelson. While growing up in Nelson I had not experienced this. The restaurant was not to lack ambience. We sat outside and watched the sunset over the mountain. There were heaters to keep the patrons warm. We started with cocktails. My husband said his gin martini was one of... More

I loved the out door grotto ambience for our evening meal en famille. There's no kids menu, per say, but they are happy to accommodate the younger palate on request. Service was warm and friendly, pace of courses just right. Pricing is on the mid-to-high side but the dishes were unique and very nicely done.

Dinner took 1.5 hours to get to the table which we felt was just too long. While the food was gorgeous ( as is the atmosphere) the portions are small and simply not worth the cost. There are many great eateries in Nelson - I'd pass on this one.

Once again our family was treated to great food & wine..I can't remember enjoying a better piece of salmon..the exquisite charm of the building coupled with the enthusiastic & knowledgeable staff make the Cafe a fabulous culinary experience.

We tried to reserve a place at this restaurant while on the road but never received the requested callback. Nonetheless, while wandering around Nelson we came across it and went in. And we weren't disappointed - we managed to score a table on the charming, green veranda under the trees. The food was unpretentious and well presented in surprisingly decent... More

My 13 year old son and I had the pleasure of dining at All Seasons Cafe last week, and were able to get a table on the coveted patio without a reservation. I would not recommend such dangerous living if you are keen to dine here, though. We split three appies: the bison spring rolls, crab stuffed prawns, and scallops.... More

My husband and I enjoyed a meal here. I was delighted to find a nice variety of GF options on the menu. We both had the scallops and the lamb - which were prepared beautifully. The service was a bit slow at times but we were in no hurry. Make a reservation as they are very busy!

We just returned from 10 days in Nelson...First of all, what a great little community. Everyone there was so friendly - and the hiking and fishing were amazing. We were looking for a romantic dinner our 3rd night and was recommended to All Seasons. We were lucky and got a 8pm reservation on a Thursday night... Food was great, staff... More

This restaurant was an excellent choice for our dinner out in Nelson. The quality of the food was excellent with lots of interesting local and imported ingredients used to create an innovative menu. Crab stuffed jumbo prawns were amazing as was the wine selection. Complimentary desert shooters were a nice surprise. The ambiance on the patio was very mellow and... More
