We live in the area and have eaten here once before, years ago. We have heard so many great things about this restaurant and so we chose this out of the many other good restaurants which Nelson is blessed to have - even though the cost of a plate is much higher than the rest. There were only two other... More

This little Cafe is actually in an alley, and does not look fancy as it is a very old house. They do not have a lot of tables, about a dozen. I had been to this cafe a few years ago, and it was good. With their new chef, whom I was told had been there about 4 months, it... More

Wonderful setting. An old house with wooden floors and a perfect courtyard under a treed canopy. Nelson is a character town and this restaurant sets the mark. The food lives up to the setting - not elaborate (no foam), just great ingredients well prepared. I had the lamb shank, great veggies and the lamb was tender and tasty though a... More

Anyone who doesn't rate this restaurant very highly has some serious issues. They do excellent food, and give excellent service. The diversity on the menu is great and the atmosphere is great. I find it hard to see coffee shops rated above such a high end restaurant on this site. This is a real restaurant with excellent options.

The food was very good, interesting twist on a deconstructed bruschetta and a delicious baked brie. Salad was excellent, one of the best duck confit I have had, tender moist and full of flavour. Two vegetarian options for main course. A very generous portion of halibut with a light coconut curry sauce. The wine list is extensive, the setting is... More

loved the food and patio, the service was good, nice wine selection and owner was accommodating allowing our large party of 12 to all sit together despite the fact that the restaurant was busy. Reservations recommended.

Not only is this one of my most favourite restaurants ever, but now The All Seasons can boast superb vegetarian options. Their quinoa portobello stack is probably the best dish I've ever tasted. I'm kind of used to settling for the token mediocre veggie main dish most restaurants feel compelled to provide but I was happily surprised at the fantastic... More

As part of a party of 12 hikers, I wanted to share our experience at All Seasons Cafe. We had originally booked our reservation for 7pm but when our hike went long, ASC graciously allowed us to push it back to 8. When we arrived, we had a short wait as they had been able to host another group due... More

We had a wonderful walk while experiencing the back lanes of Nelson. While growing up in Nelson I had not experienced this. The restaurant was not to lack ambience. We sat outside and watched the sunset over the mountain. There were heaters to keep the patrons warm. We started with cocktails. My husband said his gin martini was one of... More
