Best Burgers in town

I have to say that this restaurant had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The lamb special they had that day was very good too. Supporting food like the fries and salad where great too. The staff was flat out great.

Every chance we get when travelling through Nelson we stop by The Diner. Great streetside atmosphere. Friendly service. Great food. Nelson is kinda eclectic so dinner on the patio puts you amidst the mix. Always good value and a street show free. We'll be back.

The restaurant is not fancy at all but the food and service is oh so good. Large portions of wonderful food and staff are friendly with good prices. They have a patio for those that like to eat out side. A great little restaurant that we would highly recommend.

Had a few cold beers and some burgers here for lunch. Patio in the sun, and quick service. The Athenian burger was delicious and the tzatziki was a nice touch. I would eat recommend this place to friends.

Was going to change it up, but just couldn't. Fish-N-Chips as always still the best in town. Beef Slovakia was also great. As always great service and atmosphere.

My husband had the Naples hot sandwich which was excellent. I was dieting so had a Greek salad which was also good. Prices were fair and service was good.

The shrimp pita is the best and the fires are homemade. The diner salad is yummy because of the great dressing. A perfect lunch spot.

Wonderful service every time and delicious food! It is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but the portions are large and the food is good. I always enjoy the pita melts or their unusual poutine flavours. If you're not feeling adventurous, the fish and chips are great too! Their Greek items are also wonderful.

We have lived in Nelson for over 20 years and have eaten at this restaurant many times over the past 20 years. The Main Street Diner has consistently served our family delicious, reasonably priced food. My favorite is the lamb dinner and I have yet to taste calamari better than theirs. My husband and I ate there again on Monday... More

It may have been just a very busy day for the staff, but ALL was good. Will be trying it again next summer.
