Delicious Sirloin steak and fries

Chose to have the steak sandwich and a 1/4 chicken dinner. Steak was great - cooked perfectly. The chicken was flavourful but drier than I wanted. When asked how the food was, I mentioned they both tasted great, but the chicken was dry. No response from the wait staff.

Attended a catered lunch here, about 3 weeks ago. We were supposed to have Doukhobor borsch as a starter. Something was very wrong her. Instead of being made with stewed tomatoes, It tasted like the cooks used ketchup as the base. You could detect ketchup spices and excess sweetness in the soup. The cabbage was chopped in much too large... More

Passable at best. Ate here for a week on a business trip and tried a lot of different items. Unimaginative, often cold, overpriced for portion and quality. Servers bored and forgetful. Only ate here because it was attached to the hotel.

A great restaurant offering delicious comfort food made from scratch, and specializing in rotisserie chicken and ribs. Definitely a must when in Nelson! :)

My mom and I had lunch here yesterday. We both had the Chicken Club. The prices are very good for this day and age! Service was slow. I can't say much about the food. Not great...not terrible. Average. There are better places to eat in Nelson.

Went here while in Nelson. Super beef dip. Good service from shy charming waitress. Actually had breakfast a few days before as well. Also good eats. Recommended. Good menu. Something for everyone. .

Poor may be too harsh of a rating but "average" is a stretch so "poor" it is! Everything was just mediocre, from service to food. We didn't get sick, but the food was forgettable. We ordered pot roast & Chicken breast with veggies & rice pilaf. The veggies were overdone & my husband made the mistake of asking if his... More

There are way better places to eat in downtown Nelson. We had Breakfast here twice and both times were disappointed by the heavily processed food and cheap coffee. We prefer the local small businesses to this place and we recommend you try the local spots out before venturing here.

Firstly, I'd like to apologize for not satisfying you more than we did. Just so you know we are locally owned and operated and the cheap coffee that you are referring to is a Nelson company called Kootenay Coffee Company that we sourced locally. I wish it were cheaper than it was but we aren't really cutting any corners there.... More
