Passing by several times, this establishment looks mostly always busy. This morning I was fortunate to get a table when stopping for a coffee. I love the many windows to look out on Baker, the main street in Nelson. The patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves as the place was buzzing. Even among the bustle, it's enjoyable to sit and... Chose this spot on a trip advisor recommendation and were not disappointed. We had a very short wait at the door. We chose the crab cakes and eggs and the florentine omelette. Both were generous portions and really delicious. Staff kept the coffee topped up. The poached eggs were done to perfection.

Service is always prompt, even when it's a little busy on a weekend. They do their best to seat the crowds on busy days. Staff is friendly and on point. Food is delicious and they're happy to make substitutions on almost anything. Get the salmon Benny with bacon added. Best hollandaise in town

Very creative menu! Lots of gluten free options and veggie (tofu) choices too. The KickHash is a bit spicy, with chourico and banana peppers. We also enjoyed a circle one omelet served on a grain roll with goat cheese and tomatoes. Lots of great choices on the menu and appears to be a good local hangout. expect to wait unless... More

two visits - first time had to wait for tables to be cleared/ set-up and slow to get service - the food was good although very heavy - second time sat outside and took over 10 minutes to get coffee then the server never came back - left the restaurant.

I have had several mediocre and overpriced breakfasts here. The service is often terrible, usually when the owners are taking tables. The last time I ate here I had ordered eggs poached medium. When the meal arrived the eggs were barely cooked enough to hold together. No one came to quality check or refill my coffee or water. I did... More

The breakfast we were served was quite a disappointment. Three of us had eggs Benny and they arrived cold. The waiter brought a full order for one of our party when only a half had been ordered, and then refused to take it back, arguing that he was right and you get what you asked for. Apparently you don't even... More

This is a very nice place to eat breakfast, definitely worth the wait to get a table. Very nice staff and consistently cooked food. Without a doubt top 5 in Nelson.

Came here for breakfast after this place was highly recommended by the attendant at my motel. Was not terribly busy at 8AM on a Saturday. Service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant does not have wifi...not a big deal, but seems not to match upscale cafes in 2013. I had their "New Paris" omelette, prepared at my request as a scramble,... More

My hubby and I recently travelled to Nelson for the first time in 30 years. We had a chance to eat at this restaurant while we were there. We met up with a friend of my husbands who had a limited amount of time to partake in lunch. We ended up waiting 45 mins for a spot ( we were... More
