This is a happening little place which is usually quite busy! I usually join a friend here a few times a month for breakfast and coffee. The service is usually pretty slow, and so don't expect anything too prompt or anyone over extending their customer service know-how. All in all though the food is average and it is a nice... More

The breakfast here is great however the lunch was sub par at best. The wrap my wife and I ordered was not worth even close to the $9 we paid for it. The taste was ok. The soup we ordered was discribed as a potato and chorizo chowder but it had split and was watered down. Go for breakfast, skip... More

Have been here many times and always been pleased. This last time was no exception. Had friends in from out of town and we headed down for breaky. All four of us were totally happy with our meals. Lots on the plate and tasty. The pricing is good and you get a plateful. The service was great. Poor staff was... More

I LOVE this place's eggs benedict varieties. I'll say that upfront. The waitresses are happy and kind, and the menu options are wonderful! But (sigh) the waitresses are a lil on the forgetful side (as in when you're ready to pay your bill, they might be polishing the silverware instead for a looong time). And unfortunately, as you'll find is... More

Atmosphere was good, nice big windows to people watch from But!!! The food is just basic and not very interesting ! My experience : I had a GBT with a cup of soup ( it was tomato soup which was just ok) The GBT was bacon, lettuce and fresh tomatoes slices on marble bread. Pretty hard to screw that up!... More

This restaurant is right in the middle of Nelson, but it doesn't sit on its laurels...we arrived for a late breakfast and were seated in the very 'Nelson', very friendly atmosphere by happy and attentive waitresses. The menu is substantial; difficult to decide...however, the Parisien omlettte gave me everything I wanted: eggs, goat cheese, ham, deliciously carmelized red onions topped... More

Passing by several times, this establishment looks mostly always busy. This morning I was fortunate to get a table when stopping for a coffee. I love the many windows to look out on Baker, the main street in Nelson. The patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves as the place was buzzing. Even among the bustle, it's enjoyable to sit and... Chose this spot on a trip advisor recommendation and were not disappointed. We had a very short wait at the door. We chose the crab cakes and eggs and the florentine omelette. Both were generous portions and really delicious. Staff kept the coffee topped up. The poached eggs were done to perfection.

Service is always prompt, even when it's a little busy on a weekend. They do their best to seat the crowds on busy days. Staff is friendly and on point. Food is delicious and they're happy to make substitutions on almost anything. Get the salmon Benny with bacon added. Best hollandaise in town
