Worth the twenty minute wait

Great breakfast to cure the morning after the night before feeling. I had eggs benny and my companions had nanny benny and the standard breakfast. All thoroughly enjoyed our food apart from the slightly undercooked potatoes. Great value, place was full, service fine and the coffee good.

Was very busy here on sunday morning (as a lot of other places in Nelson are closed on Sundays). Breakfast was really good and the waitress was very accomodating, making sure the peppers were put on the side of my partner's breakfast (as he didn't want his hash too spicy). Food came out fairly quickly. I'd eat here semi-regularly if... More

This is a happening little place which is usually quite busy! I usually join a friend here a few times a month for breakfast and coffee. The service is usually pretty slow, and so don't expect anything too prompt or anyone over extending their customer service know-how. All in all though the food is average and it is a nice... More

The breakfast here is great however the lunch was sub par at best. The wrap my wife and I ordered was not worth even close to the $9 we paid for it. The taste was ok. The soup we ordered was discribed as a potato and chorizo chowder but it had split and was watered down. Go for breakfast, skip... More

Have been here many times and always been pleased. This last time was no exception. Had friends in from out of town and we headed down for breaky. All four of us were totally happy with our meals. Lots on the plate and tasty. The pricing is good and you get a plateful. The service was great. Poor staff was... More

I LOVE this place's eggs benedict varieties. I'll say that upfront. The waitresses are happy and kind, and the menu options are wonderful! But (sigh) the waitresses are a lil on the forgetful side (as in when you're ready to pay your bill, they might be polishing the silverware instead for a looong time). And unfortunately, as you'll find is... More

Atmosphere was good, nice big windows to people watch from But!!! The food is just basic and not very interesting ! My experience : I had a GBT with a cup of soup ( it was tomato soup which was just ok) The GBT was bacon, lettuce and fresh tomatoes slices on marble bread. Pretty hard to screw that up!... More
