My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Tapas earlier this month. We had enjoyed the dinner we had eaten there for our anniversary last year. This year we found the selection of Tapas just okay and there was basalmic reduction on everything which was a bit weird. We were not particularly impressed with the prices either. The setting... My wife and I fortunately stumbled across this quaint little Tapas Bar while looking for a place to have dinner last night. Very pleasant atmosphere inside, with a nice patio outside for warmer times. Menu was more than adequate with full dinners and wide variety of appetizers including smaller portion meals. Service was exceptional and our server was a delight.... More

Ahi Tuna starter was a good but a tad small for the price you paid. Mussels and squash salad were great.. I would suggest they add 1/2 litre wine selections for those that want a little more than a glass.

The chef's kitchen is small but the food delivered to your candle lit patio table is so nice! Did I say the staff is very proud of the owner and his artful, delicious creations?

Well, it was a very hot summer afternoon in Nelson today. I had the butternut squash spinach salad....what can I say but mmmmmmmm. VERY VERY GOOD. I would recommend it to everyone. My partner had a burger and it was excellent too. Service was great, prices were reasonable and the serving size was just right. Great place to go!!

My mom and I met for a leisurely lunch where good food and conversation were both on the menu. Our server Mishka was an absolute delight and responded to the pace like a pro. The wine list is all BC which I love, with many favorites by the glass. We had the Cassini Unoaked Chardonnay which was a perfect match... More

My friend and I wandered into Sage for an early weekday lunch, so we had no trouble getting a table on the deck. The view of the mountains is lovely but somewhat spoiled by an ugly parking lot below. The menu offered various tempting creative options and we finally settled for a lamb meatball sandwich and the butternut squash and... More

I have to say I had the most wonderful time at Sages!! Visiting a close friend in Nelson BC I was pleased to discover the butternut squash spinach salad was to die for!! The homemade pesto on top just created the perfect meal :). Can not wait to visit again & try the rest of the menu !!

We simply had to wait too long to get served at this restaurant. After about 40 minutes waiting for our dinner I was tempted to get up and leave. We were seated promptly and our appetizer (which okay but nothing special) and drink came within a reasonable time. However, we were not provided any silverware or napkins and eventually found... Lovely atmosphere, terrific service, wonderful food, but 3 pieces of vegetable with a main meal, come on! I savoured my one slice of carrot, one piece of asparagus, and a small chuck of red pepper and thought I will not be back here for dinner. On the other hand the date carmel cake was superb. That is what I would... More
